7 points from 4 and no manager bounce?

Seriously?

Over a season that’s the autos almost
A decent start, but 3 of those points came against the worst team in the championship that are nailed on to go down. (And we still had to come from behind)

And another point came from a very late and dubious penalty at home to Cardiff.

So I'd say it's been a steady start, but at least we've moved away from the relegation zone, so the pressure has eased a little.

It will be interesting to see what happens in January, and how we go about strengthening the defence, which looks very fragile at the moment.

I am not looking up yet but Bristol, Millwall and Derby have such poor form I'd hope we can overtake them soon.

Agree it's a new dawn and we have to buy into it.

Extensive studies in Germany has shown new manager bounce doesn't really exist and at best is very short lived before form returns to the previous normal.

That is not to say a new manager/coach given time can't take a team forward .

I was a big Robins fan, I could see small signs of an upturn and felt he deserved more time. However that ship has now sailed.

So I hope Frank Lampard can take us forward. He deserves time and the earliest I think we can make any judgements will be the end of next season.
