Fuck sake, offered so little is bizarre.
I swear our fans pay not attention to what the opposition do in a game its madness
He is supposed to be a midfield playmaker who uses the ball very constructively rather than just pass it backwards every single time.

You can't afford a wholly defensive tackling midfielder - it leaves it all to Rudoni. Sheaf got into some interesting places on the left in the second half although iirc no actual shooting chance came from them (MVE?)

As always judgements are mainly being directed by the result (see Player Ratings every single game). Had Pompey got that one off the bar, suspect Grimes would have been in for a heap of shit

Rudoni has had a great season, looked a bit shaky early on, but you could see he was a really talented player, he's offered far more and been a big upgrade on O'Hare, I just can't see him moving this summer, I just don't think one of the prem teams will be willing pay the sort of money we would want to let him go.

If we need money to upgrade elsewhere, then I could see MVE and Wright both attracting the money we would need to let them leave.

If we dont go up I'm worried about him going.

We won't be actively looking to sell him, no chance after 1 year. Just doesn't fit how we've been doing things recently. Maybe someone will come in with a ridiculous offer but we are under no pressure and will know his value and potential if he has another great season next year

Wasn’t there a game when an assist got taken off him or something or a goal got disallowed

would have put him top.

Simms took one off him with a toe poke to BTA. But then one of his is a 50:50 challenge that fell to Eccles so swings and roundabouts.

I said it from the off an upgrade on O'Hare (even if not Hamer).

Would just like to share some honkers with the group

I think we could do better. Especially if the fee is over £2-3m.

I tend to agree , he flatters to decieve and his end product hasn't been great so far in his career.
I trust MR and AV to improve him however

Bit of anticlimactic if I’m honest especially when we’ve been linked to Stamenic (granted I only heard of him about 10 days ago) and Browne for that position. Whilst I think it is a decent acquisition, it doesn’t fill me with a lot of excitement but I’m happy to be proven wrong.

£5m for a L1 player again though…

cant help but feel we could have spent £35m a bit more efficiently.

So far it’s been a meh with Rudoni’s performances. In pre-season he looked good and the signs were good for the start.

In the games so far he hasn’t impressed. What is his position? What’s his role? He looks lost in the 10 role.

Another one where we expected a bit more.

I thought we’d massively overpaid when the fee was announced, came round on him big time in pre-season and now cooled on him again. Oxford game aside he’s offered very little and his off the ball work is miles behind O’Hare’s.

He’s ineffective. Spent a lot of money on him as well

He’s reminding me of Lameiras so far
