His aim is to score some goals to keep us up.

Has he missed many sitters when he has been put through or just not been in the right place at the right time to put them away?

To be honest we just need goals, it doesn't matter who scores them.

I can't remember him missing many sitters when clean through, seemed quite clinical (I have been to sleep since most of the games) when he did get chances. Just didn't actually get the chances to take them.

He hasn't missed sitters when clean through, that's because centre halves have managed to catch up and tackle him despite him having a head start. Happened a fair few times this season.

Love these stories when papers and websites have nothing else to write about.

'Dave is up for the game on Saturday'
'Dave wants to play games'
'Dave wants to score goals'

Dave is on 3 grand a week. I should bloody well hope so.

If he is on that much we should probably start playing Dave!

You can count on one hand the amount of chances he's been afforded, and of them he's taken a few. He is a finisher, nothing else, he won't hold the ball up or go on mazy runs culminating in goals. Put the ball in the 6 yard box and he'll start scoring.

Guess what? Coventry City fans want Jackson to score some goals. Maybe Simon could spin an article out of those nine words?

we all know what you dont like about him

I don't like the fact he told my 5 year old daughter he was going to keep wearing his orange boots (she recognised him off fifa because of the boots) and has now changed them. Fucking liar, breaking promises to kids.

Jackson is all about pace and getting in behind, god knows how but he has lost his pace, he's only 27. What do we on the training ground that ruins these types of players

I'd like to see a front pairing of Reda Johnson and Simeon Jackson on Saturday, could be the new Dublin and Huckerby dream partnership

It was his game against Worcester that did it for me, there centre back Wayne Thomas who is now retired and nearly 40 beat him for pace...

I've seen Sunday League strikers with more pace after a skin full the night before.

Although mainly, he simply gets knocked off the ball by a gust of wind!

Who is Simeon Jackson?!!! :D Tbh my biggest memory of him this season is getting cheered by the Gillingham fans at Priestfield while City fans were looking on bemused!

The highlight of his Coventry career is probably that goal he got for Gillingham against Villa in the cup a few years back!

Never mind Simeon Jackson, we should have kept Cody McDonald. He cant stop scoring and he can even score penalties! Did not fit in with SP's requirements though.

Should of been his bastard aim all season

He's crap, he's anonymous. He never gets chances because he hardly touches the ball in a match, you can probably count the number of touches he's had on one hand in every game this season.

Tudgay and Nouble are a bit crap but at least they get involved every now and then.

There weren't many of Leon Clarke's goals scored from outside the 6 yd box and I can only remember 1 from outside the 18 (but stand to be corrected if anyone can list 2)

Why do these idiotic strikers state they want to score more goals? It's their fracking job to do so. They should keep quiet and get on with it. Would I be interested if a midwife went public that she wanted to deliver more babies ? Probably.

He owes us big style to be honest had high hopes for him but not materialised at all this year to date!
The way TM is bigging up Prosch think it's fair to say Tudgay will not be about and think netiher will Fleck and of course Samuel has gone.

Tudgay a big loss hoping that Prosch and Jackson step up to the plate.....and of course bloody Nouble let's hope he has a hot game too!!

Oh man, don't tell me we've found ANOTHER kind of article the Telegraph shouldn't be writing?

I had genuinely forgotten Simeon Jackson existed until last weekend.

When we signed him I thought it was a really good signing but I have not really seen anything from him but no great surprise in front of that midfield how many times has Fleck split the defence with a killer pass?
