It’s weird as we all see the same games but with different eyes! I genuinely thought that both Howley and Burroughs looked like they could make it with us , they were though at the time in a good team which perhaps made it easier for them with the players they were surrounded by.

Ignoring Collins as we're fine for keepers and ignoring Burroughs replacing Milan (not ideal), then that's 3 outfield players leaving and only 2 coming in?

We're quite a light squad as it is...we need more bodies through the door.

Especially experienced as despite his faults (and I think he's good player), Lati is apparently a decent person to have around and has a good bit of experience.

I thought Burroughs would be a peripheral squad player this season, he is certainly no lightweight and wouldn't get bullied. I was surprised when he did go on loan he went to Scotland and not a league one club and thought that move signalled the end of his time with CCFC but now it looks otherwise.

We will have to see what the plan for him and Howley is in the next 2 weeks.

2 weeks sounds like plenty of time, but we don't seen to be a club that moves quickly.

Get the point you’re trying to make but neither could be classed as established for us. If selling two bit-part squad players (who the majority of us are happy to see depart) gets us a highly rated young CM we’d probably be silly to turn that down, right? Especially if the ‘season is done’ like most seem free to admit.
