There's legs to this

They came in with 6million, we said "Lol try double figure millions Hun'. They've came back and not sure whether it is said double figure millions but Dougs interest has been piqued
Given the state of the "deck" if they have offered circa £10m - Id take it. That along with Vik and sheaf money in summer could just about give us a chance of sorting it out.

This is a big window for Frank and in turn therefore Austin.

Frank wants to make progress and see the club honour the commitments they gave him when joining, and Austin needs to improve his success rate or is vulnerable when the new DOF is appointed.

Oh also the one I was told we were getting in on loan early in the window went tits up, they chose somewhere else

And annoyingly he's quality and we could have done with him

Ronnie Edwards that went QPR. Apparently

Honestly this is a difficult one, we absolutely shouldn't be selling our best players, especially with a lot of time on his contract.

At the same time King is only taking us down so suspect his value will only be lower in another 12 months and he doesn't seem to really want to be here either anymore.

Interesting to know why we didn't get that done - Austin again at fault?

Surely we were a better option than QPR?

He wouldn’t have given us the experience or physicality that sone crave but his distribution from the back would have been a step up.

The problem is we need to bring in experience. The model these days is to try and bring in players to make money on. You don't normally make money on older, experienced players.

Based on what are we a better option than QPR?

Player is only on loan so isn't bothered about where we will be in 2 or 3 seasons or how much money we might spend on transfers.

Based on prospects for this season we are the same really.

I really don’t get this. Obviously you watch a player and all that, but would it really be hard to do a few google searches to see both what fans who watch him each week think and any rumours that might not be obvious?

all this stuff is in the public domain.
They will also speak to coaches and players that have been connected to him at some point

Of course we will sell our best players, almost every club does. The key to progress is to sell well, invest well, and improve the quality of the total squad over time.

If selling MVE gets us a new right back and a Centre half better than we have now then it’s progress. If the fee is big enough to do more than that then it’s a no brainer.

Bournemouth sold Solanke in the summer…. It’s not holding them back, Forest sold Johnson the summer before.
I get that, but seemingly people think mve is shit, and I don't understand that

Fucking play him them

Squad full of nice boys… needs a bastard in the ranks, Kitch is no worse than the shite we’ve been persisting with all season
I don't like taking rumours as gospel as too many people have an ulterior motive. But these things seem to have followed him around for a fair bit of time.

Same. But 2 up top as much as I would like to see it is suicide with the nonsense in midfield.

Go long and wide. And anyone with more than 25 passes a half gets a fine.

I don’t want to watch us play 541 again. Simms needs someone alongside him. Sit in and launch it long for the chaos merchants and hope for the best.

Couldn’t care less, Noel Whelan had baggage to the point where he was made to live with our manager at the time before he ended up getting himself locked up and he is lauded by our fans

This defence consists of the same players making the same errors week after week and needs a freshen up, I think Kitching should be given another chance
