Hamer wasn't worth 15m. Gyokeres wasn't worth 25m+. Both only had 1 year left of their contracts. He is not worth £10 million
If they want him they have to pay the asking price.

Is he obtainable?
Main question around that in my post was would we be selling the best right back in the division - half way though the season no less.
Any ideas of players coming in. Can’t say I don’t mind 8 million for him
Nothing yet
Probably replace Milan with some L1 degenerate for 5 million
Given the state of the "deck" if they have offered circa £10m - Id take it. That along with Vik and sheaf money in summer could just about give us a chance of sorting it out. There's legs to this
They came in with 6million, we said "Lol try double figure millions Hun'. They've came back and not sure whether it is said double figure millions but Dougs interest has been piqued
Sure i read he was originally from London so makes sense for a short term loan i guessOh also the one I was told we were getting in on loan early in the window went tits up, they chose somewhere else
And annoyingly he's quality and we could have done with him
Ronnie Edwards that went QPR. Apparently
Definitely a shame, would imply though we have a CB on the way out?Oh also the one I was told we were getting in on loan early in the window went tits up, they chose somewhere else

Interesting to know why we didn't get that done - Austin again at fault?Oh also the one I was told we were getting in on loan early in the window went tits up, they chose somewhere else

He wouldn’t have given us the experience or physicality that sone crave but his distribution from the back would have been a step up.Oh also the one I was told we were getting in on loan early in the window went tits up, they chose somewhere else

The problem is we need to bring in experience. The model these days is to try and bring in players to make money on. You don't normally make money on older, experienced players.Given the state of the "deck" if they have offered circa £10m - Id take it. Don't laugh, perhaps they should play Kitching at defensive midfield then.
He is from London, guaranteed a starting position and maybe he just fancied them over us. Doesnt have to be anyones fault does it?Interesting to know why we didn't get that done - Austin again at fault?
Surely we were a better option than QPR?

I would hope FL has made it crystal clear to DK what's required, no excuse. The problem is we need to bring in experience. The model these days is to try and bring in players to make money on. You don't normally make money on older, experienced players.
Sounds like we didn’t do our due diligence on him

They will also speak to coaches and players that have been connected to him at some pointI really don’t get this. Obviously you watch a player and all that, but would it really be hard to do a few google searches to see both what fans who watch him each week think and any rumours that might not be obvious?
all this stuff is in the public domain.
Good. Don't care how good he is, he's still a kid. We need experience and leadership.Oh also the one I was told we were getting in on loan early in the window went tits up, they chose somewhere else

Fucking play him themI think i actually stated this almost a year ago
Penis apparently
We would still have been lacking experience at the back as good as he is.Agreed, I think that was the case. Shame
I get that, but seemingly people think mve is shit, and I don't understand thatOf course we will sell our best players, almost every club does. The key to progress is to sell well, invest well, and improve the quality of the total squad over time.
If selling MVE gets us a new right back and a Centre half better than we have now then it’s progress. If the fee is big enough to do more than that then it’s a no brainer.
Bournemouth sold Solanke in the summer…. It’s not holding them back, Forest sold Johnson the summer before.
Looking like I’m definitely on my own with this. But BTA given a run out up top (which won’t happen) scores more than Bassette.
I think if we go two up at Norwich I’d go BTA and Simms.
I don't like taking rumours as gospel as too many people have an ulterior motive. But these things seem to have followed him around for a fair bit of time.Fucking play him them
Squad full of nice boys… needs a bastard in the ranks, Kitch is no worse than the shite we’ve been persisting with all season
And the defence?Same. But 2 up top as much as I would like to see it is suicide with the nonsense in midfield.
Go long and wide. And anyone with more than 25 passes a half gets a fine.

Couldn’t care less, Noel Whelan had baggage to the point where he was made to live with our manager at the time before he ended up getting himself locked up and he is lauded by our fansI don't like taking rumours as gospel as too many people have an ulterior motive.
