I'd like to keep him. But doubt we will. He is still a young lad, but I think for quite a short lad he's decent at CB.

Never liked him at RB as his physique doesn't suit it for me.

Keep. He was a captain, he's local and knows the club and I think a strong nucleus of that sort of character is needed in the rebuild job. He's versatile and young enough to improve. If we don't get a silly offer keep him and and give him an extension IMO. DKE won't be suitable at RB all the time and won't play every game. If we sell we'd need arguably two players in to replace him (CB/RB). There's better sources of cash like Harries and Stevenson.

Isn't the only thing you've been told over the past few seasons :D

Provides some excellent entertainment for the rest of us though ;)

Bad news is we may not be moving after all unless the Club sort out an issue I've raised (won't let us have block 23 unless there's a child in the group as it remains a 'family zone').

Only 22, thought he was older tbh. Seems like he's been around for ages but guess he did make his debut as a scholar. Over 100 appearances as a 22 year old defender when he's had long term injuries is impressive.

Can you not adopt a family members child for the sake of a birth certificate or does a child need to be present at the turnstile?

Genuine answer is I haven't seen him play so it's a leap of faith in hoping that he's better (just like buying my ST every year). I'm hoping at 24 though that he's quicker across the grass, a better passer and better in the air than what I saw from Clarke last year.

If Clarke had stayed I would've been annoyed because I think we could've gotten better for the wages we're paying him, but not as annoyed as if we'd have kept Foley :D

Keep him. Play him at centre half and play a high line. He will be quicker than most league 2 strikers. I personally believe league 2 is below his level but I trust Robins' judgement

Working on it ;) considering multiple blocks are covered by the same turnstiles I think it'll be difficult to force you to bring a child every game :)

I'd chance it. I'd tell the jobs worth who questions you on the day your in a legal dispute with the mum who has declined access. It's all very sad....
What they gonna do, refuse you entry?

I'm glad that a child is required in the family zone. Although there is swearing I feel it is limited. Nothing is worse than at h/t a couple of drunks with no kids roll up and loud mouth it through the second half belching and swearing 'ad infinitum'. I accept swearing at a football match but I buy a ticket in an area where that is minimised cos of the children. When he is older I won't worry about moving to a part of the ground where swearing is more prevalent.
As for Willis if we get 500k then sell.

I always think you keep your best players and he is one of those but get him to sign a new contract no being able to walk away for free too much of that in the past .Turnbull will go I think and Clark is not good enough.

    Fully agree.
I accept I can't take my young kids to away games because of the swearing, but it is annoying that a few, older men with alcohol (usually in a flask!), think it is OK to sit in family stand and proceed to swear all through the game...

I'm not being anti-flaskist, though it does remind me of train spotters!

There's a number you can text to report it, no idea if it works though as I've never tried it.

If the money is re-invested in the team then sell otherwise what's the point.

If that's the case-snapp their hands off! Over rated for me and another with the "losing mentality" streak running through him. Time to wave bye bye.

I'm guessing it would be 500k tops anyone would pay for him if it turned into a bidding war, More likely 400k tho.
Surely that figure would be enough to sign a striker like James Collins who would likely cost 200/250k.
Worth the sale in my eyes.

£500k is the threshold for me. We'd need a RB and probably a backup CB in as well as anyone else and his wage will only go so far.

but yeah near the end it started saying child needed so i had to abduct one

gave him back at end of season, dropped him off to house and everything, but parents wernt very polite, i should not have bothered and made him get a taxi!

There's nothing actually stopping people from walking in there and sitting down anyway.

I have no issue with it if groups of adults sit in there to watch the game anyway. Especially in the winter as the body heat is always welcome!

It's just when they don't treat it like a family zone.

Think I've only had one hot chocolate at the Ricoh and it was pretty much water.

Do you enjoy being sat on the sofa every game? ;)

I would like him to stay however if we were offered £1M then he can pack his bags. He is fairly versatile centre half and right back so that helps but I think if people think we can keep our 3 main kids then I think they will be disappointed. If I could choose one to leave it would be Stevenson, albeit probably the best prospect we have but is likely to make the most money from his sale.

Bradford reportedly interested, but interest has taken a dent at our valuation of him.
