I don't seen that at all. He offers something quite different to Rudoni and Grimes and Allen.Really like Eccles, but he’s currently the sixth choice CM under Lampard - unless the plan is to sell Sheaf then the writing is on the wall for him.
Best-case scenario for him at the moment is that he's the full-time backup for Torp - I doubt he'll be happy with that, especially having just signed a new contract.I don't seen that at all. He offers something quite different to Rudoni and Grimes and Allen.
He's not featuring at the moment, but we have just won 4 in a row. Be madness to now change the side in order to include him.

In my opinion his inconsistency is what holds him back. He probably plays well once every five games. When Sheaf has been injured more often than not he has been very poor.Eccles was literally our best and most consistent player for the first half of the season.

Great?He's a great player, going through what is obviously a bit of a difficult time having to sit out. He'll have his opportunity back in the team I am sure, and I expect he'll do well with it. One of our most solid players really, but I do think it is fair to say he has struggled a bit recently when playing too. I really hope we don't sell him, as he's the kind of player that really improves the standard of the overall squad.

A world beater and as good as someone like Hamer all the time? No, of course not, but he is criminally underrated and on his day is a great player.

A steady eddy with the talent to potentially be more is where I am at currently with him.He's only really been abysmal at times recently. For the last couple of seasons I would say he has been one of our most consistent performers when he has played. I would actually say there is a case to argue he was one of our best players last season too.
I can’t see him going just yet but expect he will do in the summer.Heard today of a very very reliable source that people around him are in his ear and he's a bit disheartened about recent game time .

There’s not one alternative universe that would see Eccles fill in at CB.He’s a versatile player and like Lats that will probably save him. He’s probably our second choice RWB, could fill in on the wing or anywhere in CM, even at CB at a push.

If he doesn't leave I'm sure he'll get some game time soon enough with us and hopefully can play into form
