Given he had played nearly 20 SPL games before we signed him at 18, I honestly expected it wouldn't be too soon before he was challenging for a 1st team place, but in the end he never even got close. This move seems best for all concerned.

Think it was worth a punt at the time some come off some don’t and move on that’s football good luck to the lad for the future.
