I've gone with Byng. We need a fresh start.

Yeah... I still think there's something I don't trust about Byng and his mates. I can't put my finger on it which is odd as I've usually quite aware of my prejudices. I've gone for PHIV. He's engaged and seems to say the right things - Mind you, I thought that of Fisher at the beginning of his tenure. Can we have another option please?

I've gone for PH4. The Byng bid reminds me too much of Sisu, investers hiding behind a front man.

Weren't the Malaysians who took over Cardiff quite secretive?

I don't get why people immediately trust PH4 over Byng's lot, I don't fear either of them (as in they'll be bad for the club) and lets bear in mind that Byng is a Cov lad and supports CCFC, so in this respect, it's completely different to Ranson and SISU, and I think that demands some trust.

If others are concerned that little is known of these Malaysians, why did we all trust Hoffman 1st time around? We didn't have a clue who wanted to invest, but most of us trusted Hoff.

We don't know enough about any of the bidders so I'm also going for Olly Murrs.

Good on you.

I am now going to Google him to find out who the bleedin hell he is.

Is he maybe a cousin of Councillor Mutton or something?

Dont get me wrong, if its a choice between Sisu or the Malaysians I would go with the Malaysians.

I supported Hoffman at the time because he was the only other option.

I like the idea of the Byng consortium and the potential creation of manufacturing jobs in the city. We need more employment opportunities that will help to grow wealth in the city with the knock on effect of more supporters with disposable income.

I've gone Byng - I think there's plenty of potential for us to be built into a financially secure football club if all their alleged plans are put into place.

In the end though I just want whoever our new owners are to:

  • build and maintain constructive relationships with all key stakeholders;
  • stay at the Ricoh;
  • secure access to year-round revenues at the Ricoh, and;
  • be somewhat competent when it comes to running a football club in a sustainable, decent-to-fans way.
Not too much to ask is it? :whistle:

I have stated - there is no logical reasoning for my prejudice over the Byng bid and no real reason for my preferrence of Hoff and Elliott (Infact I've been critical over the pair of them)

It's just where I sit. I hate not knowing why, too!!

Well the administrator said there were 8 interested parties, so we don't even know half of the potential bidders!

The Byng consortium for me. They're not in it to make a fast buck like SISU, they're in it to create brand awareness in the West (if it is indeed Huawei as many of us think). They won't want failure with CCFC tarnishing their reputation - and so will have to do well!

Potentially the next CCFC to become The Reds?

To be honest, I'll be surprised if we don't still end up with SISU. If we don't it's a risk with whoever takes over. Out of our control.

I've gone for PH4 only because he has already gained the confidence of the Coventry mafia, which may of course be a bad thing, and this bid includes some fans consultation.
Also I distrust big corporations by instinct.
I will be happy if Byng bid succeeds as long as we are not left with SISU.
I think, in reality, it won't matter what we think.
