I know it's in the Transfer thread but as he's pretty much signed, a thread of his own.

I know it's a youtube compilation but 2 things.

1. He likes to thread a through ball
2. He scored from a corner.

I'm sure Adi will get the best out of him. He was also in chelsea youth with Dabo for 3 years so he will have a few friendly faces.

Like i said on the transfer shouts thread, he seems to play deeper than a number 10 and has similarities to Hamer in terms of his range of passing.

He has a lot of ability, but the question marks raised by Bristol City reporter and fans about his application are a concern.

A smart signing, at a good age and clearly has ability which if we can unlock and fit into our system he could flourish.

Gives us that depth as well which we haven't had for the last 2 seasons so that is a big positive.

I know this is an unpopular opinion, and hopefully I am going to be proved wrong on this, but I cannot get excited about this signing. I've given my reasons on other threads, but his record in the Championship across several teams is poor. Of course, you have to take other fans comments with a pinch of salt with that, but they aren't all going to be wrong, and he's getting a lot of shit.

Six seasons, all of them different shades of failure really. Averages two goals a season across those six years, and a lot of inconsistencies with appearances. It is going to take some serious turning round for him to be a solid asset for us and provide some much needed end product in the 10 position, but that being said, our management team do have the ability to do it and he has got potential. I just hope he isn't taking up a huge amount of our budget, but I suspect he may well be, which is one of my biggest concerns given how tight we are.

Anyway, I wish him the best of luck and as I said, I do hope he proves me wrong. Fingers crossed he has a flourishing career at CCFC.

Given most YouTube videos make players look like the next Ronaldo, I was a bit underwhelmed by that

Doesn’t mean shit obviously

Can I please remind everyone, that the generally accepted etiquette on here, is to wait until the player is officially announced as signed by the club, before we write him off as a waste of money!

Hopeful about this signing! His through balls look like good fodder for Gyokeres and something we’ve missed a bit higher up the pitch.

I wouldn’t judge the Bristol spell too much, as Pearson’s style is very different from ours. Palmer will be looking to turn his career around and we’re a good outfit to provide a positive environment for him.

By all accounts we’ve replaced the most useless attacking mid in the country when it comes to goal contributions with the 2nd most useless attacking mid in the country when it comes to goal contributions. What a time to be a City fan.
I mean there were genuinely Coventry fans out there that said Biamou was better than Gyokeres… maybe we wait to see how Palmer gets on when he actually plays for us?

I never said that but I think Biamou is better than Waghorn and Walker.
