No business would accept an offer to cover a large part of their operating costs from a third party with no risk unless they reach a turnover which means that they are capable of covering these costs themselves? Are you sure? I can't imagine that there's a director in the world who wouldn't at the least seriously consider this, presuming that their primary interest is making the business that they are in charge of successful. Which I'm pretty sure they are supposed to do by law.

Over 5000 but probably not as much as 10000. So there's no risk for sisu.

What do you think the average attendance will be at suxfields next season if we're still there? Will it cover the rent cost even with the pie money?

Why are we tiptoeing around Sisu? It's a good deal for the club, it's an amazing deal for the fans. That should be all we care about. Pressure from all sides should be that we want CCFC home and this deal does that with no financial implications for the club.

I await a joint statement from SBT, KCIC and GCBTTR that the club should accept this.

So if we will be getting more than 5k and sisu will be paying the rent anyway, what's the benefit to the KCIC offer? Why is that better than just doing a deal themselves? To me it seems there is no risk to KCIC backers at they will be getting their money back.

You can ask about Sixfields all you want, we all know crowds will be shit, revenue will be shit, and we would be better off at the Ricoh.

Should sisu accept this offer? No, they should do a deal themselves to return.

Sisu have playing the FFP card for some time now (not that playing at suxfields will ever mean the club will be able to comply with that unless ARVO do share issues) this offer calls the FFP cards bluff, less than 5000 KCIC offer keeps the club in FFP rules, over 5000 the club will be able to do it for itself with ticket revenue. Hell over 10000 it may even make a profit for the first time in years given how streamline the club is now compared to how it was last time at the Ricoh. Who knows, we may get a real transfer budget for the following season, who knows that might lead to promotion and the extra revenue that would bring, who knows we might even be able to pay some debt of. But who would want that?

Like you say, sisu SHOULD do the deal themselves but the reality is they're not going to do it of their own devices. So WE need to do everything we can do to make that happen. It's OUR duty as loyal fans. At the very least the KCIC offer gives sisu and the FL less places to hide and puts pressure on them to justify their stance. Something neither of them have ever done.

The club won't accept. It's not an offer that's any different to one already offered. Therefore it's pointless.

If there is enough money from these businessmen to pay the rent they should pay it so its free. That's a different offer and difficult to refuse.

Because our turnover will be in the region of £6m, and for a start you've got the £2m interest charges, £4m administration charges, and £500k contribution to the Cat B academy, before you even consider rent, matchday costs, wages (all staff including stewards), travel, utilities, tax, agents fees, etc, etc). We can argue all we want about interest charges and admin costs (sheff united pay similar/slightly more than us) but they are there.

Assuming that crowd is more than 5,000 how much are these directors committing themselves to pay? I imagine you don't know, the same as no one does, so how can they accept the offer?

Hello Mr Ears, one way if the backers are truly committed to putting up £1m would be to say we'll pay all the rent and match costs, no cost at all to SISU.

If that is turned down, which I believe it would be, then puts slightly more pressure on SISU, but ultimately if the FL don't step in we will have to wait until SISU's investors realise that they have lost their money.

SISU have already turned down a free rent offer, how is this any better?

I thought the interest wasn't real as it's not real debt according to sisu. And what's our turnover going to be at suxfields? At the very least playing at the ricoh will be damage limitation. The debt mountain (if it is in fact real, which I think most of us accept it is despite what sisu say) will not grow at the same speed as it will at suxfields. Surely that's another reason to play at the Ricoh for a CCFC fan, not an excuse not to?
