Why would anyone sign them in January when they could get them for nothing in the summer?

Don’t you know how the system works ? Players who’s contract are up in May can negotiate with prospective clubs or their agents can and either move on in January or the summer rarely any fee involved.

In an ideal world those four all amongst the higher earners would be moved on probably in January and Robins would bring others in to replace whoever leaves unfortunately we aren’t in an ideal world we are in the sisu world.
