Don't underestimate Richard Keys. He has good contacts and has worked behind the scenes for months to get us in a better position. Was behind the deal buggered up by Tango Ken and had that gone through we would be in a lot better shape than we are now. I know Richard from old as genuine a bloke you could get. and he is a die hard fan and don't say "how many games does he go to" that means fuck all. None of you fucking know him for ffs. Why do no marks on here spring up to slap down and slag off people trying to fight our cause, Keys, Hoffman, Elliott, Ainsworth. Sad keyboard cowardly wankers, done fuck all all their sad lives.

While you sit behind your keyboard calling people cowardly wankers just because you don't like their point of view - how very grown up and brave of you!

Nikki Sinclaire seems to have raised her head in this issue to correspond with the forth coming vacancy for Bob Ainsworth seat. Think she is backing the wrong horse on this one

Don't give a shite what you say pal, everytime Richard Keys gets mentioned there's a crowd on here go into meltdown over it or him. Just read the comments and personal insults, pathetic and cowardly

No she's not saying ACL are to blame. She's saying there's blame on both sides. Which there is.

Sinclaire seems increasingly out of her depth. See her on twitter now saying ACL are to blame and we have to stay with SISU as there are no other options. Can't see how you can reach that conclusion when ACL are offering the deal they are and there were other buyers interested when we went into admin.

Bit weird that you would then click in and comment on a thread that is clearly titled about him talking then.

Not really. You don't like SISU but you comment on them, don't you?

In fairness mate, I accept that you're fairly measured on most things.

Surely if SISU don't take the deal on offer now you'd accept that they've only ever been out to distress ACL, and every negotiation they've had up to this point has been in bad faith?

That being the case, it's a bit hard to make ACL out as the bad guys here.

As for Nikki Sinclaire, I suspect it's turned into political points scoring for her now which is a pity. Obviously pushing against the FL and FA was a bit too hard for her and maybe a bit lacking in exposure. Nice of her to try though.

Anything which highlights what's going on in the media must be a good thing. He should stick to what's happening and keep the other stuff to himself

Good point, well made.

In fact I was a bit hasty on my praise.

He said he doesnt want to listen to a word he says which does make it weird. I may dislike SISU but I still want to hear what they say.

Whereas if there was a thread titled One Direction talk on Heart I wouldn't bother opening it.

I'm not making out that ACL are the bad guys and apologies if that came across, Duff. I just think it's past the point of finger pointing. SISU are ultimately to blame and take the lions share of the blame for our position, I was simply pointing out that ACL need to look at themselves too. Posturing and chest beating on both sides has led where we are today.

As for Sinclaire, yes I think you're right. Good on her for giving it a go though.

I don't see sisu signing the deal because their relationship with acl can never be rebuilt and they cannot trust each other.
Acl have burnt their bridges and its too late now to come snivelling in with this offer - the damage is done and beyond repair - both sides are culpable for the sorry mess.

What I don't get is the "they want the Ricoh for nothing" line. Well, if they want the Ricoh why are they leaving it for five years? Surely, it would be easier to get their hands on the place if the team are playing there and they're paying their rent like good boys?

Getting back to thread( i know, bizarre i should wish to talk about the thread topic). Keys said 7000 will be on jimmys hill for the opening 'home' game. Has this been decided then? Nothing happening at the ricoh?

I think it's a question of distressing ACL to breaking point. There's rumblings of pending action by the likes of Ricoh (who would have been promised the exposure of first class(!) football) and other stakeholders who were 'sold' to under similar assumptions. It's unlikely that any further Council funds will be made available due to the potential judicial review so Sisu are playing the long game and circling like vultures. They play hard ball so a bit of inconvenience for us fans is like water off a ducks back. I suspect even a rent free period at the Ricoh would be rejected as it doesn't fit the 'master plan' unfortunately. What they don't get is the untold damage they are causing in the meantime. Once people are out of the CCFC habit they are unlikely to return.

I suppose if the team are playing there, then ACL are getting rent money plus pie money and associated income. Helps ease their "distress".

Fair play, and no need to apologise, I think you were straight enough.

And I think you're right. The finger pointing now is erm... pointless.

However we arrived at it, I think most would accept there's a deal on the table which makes financial sense for the club unless SISU's sole plan is to distress ACL out of existence.

They could play at the Ricoh and make at least as much as they'd make at NTFC, and still build another stadium if the issue about revenue streams means that they really can't make ends meet. But it's not about that any more, or so it seems. (All mho, as ever).

If ACL can afford to receive just £150k rent and say they have new tenants lined up, I don't see how ccfc can distress ACL, but not being there.

I think the rent is just one of a number of issues for ACL, which is the game SISU are playing. Other revenues will drop and ACL themselves may be the subject of litigation from the likes of Ricoh. Expensive court cases will certainly stress their business model, and SISU are hoping that the likes of Ricoh will do their bidding in this respect to enable them to step in at a later date. It's a high risk strategy but one they are used to playing. I just wish they weren't doing it with our club. The outcome of the judicial review may force the council to change the advantageous terms of the loan to ACL which would further hamper ACL. All part of SISUs gameplan I fear.

For the sake of balance-not that ripping the club off to the tune of £1.2m per year whilst they were willing to pay was acceptable either......

Wm65 ......ACL have burnt their bridges......

I've heard it all now.

Beat me to it. The only people who have made any attempt to sort this out are ACL. All you people who still put more blame on ACL for this mess than SHITSU ( not saying you Torch, you have been man enough to move your potion some what) name one area that they have tried to meet ACL halfway. I for one can not think of any, but I could be wrong.

I believe it was their original plan, but the council taking over the mortgage put paid to that. And they have had to come up with a new one so fast that they did not fully think it through and it's come back and bit them on the arse. Now their pride is unwilling to admit they have cocked up thereby costing us the fans our football team.
