I agree. The backroom staff have been poked and prodded about more than ever pre season. Could possibly of unsettled a few. Best way to encourage him to be more vocal…stick him on the bench.It's mainly due to Dovin needing to learn to be more vocal. They aren't happy with how quiet he is and needs to bring that into his game

Dovin has come in and done okay. He's quiet, he doesn't particularly command his area or come for crosses, and he has absolutely no urgency at all.
But he's young, literally moved to a new country two months ago and signed for now and the future.
Him taking a rest game is not an admission of bombed out or a failure as a signing. The modern world short termism is utterly terrifying.
