I think we need to be harder to score against I would go five at the back and play Binks, Kitching & Thomas......this is team I would like to see.

Dovin/Wilson (Don't care which currently on form).
MVE - RWB
DaSilva - LWB
Binks CB
Thomas CB
Kitching CB
Sheaf CM
Eccles CM
Rudoni ATT
Wright ATT
Simms ST

Need a strong performance today am hoping we get one.

You said he is a disaster waiting to happen. Based on precisely nothing at all.

It’s based on him taking our defenders by surprise numerous times already with quick fire short passes while under the press. Or haven’t you been watching games?

Sorry but you don’t chop and change for something like that. You’re going to destroy the kids confidence.
Oggy had a bit of a rant about this when they dropped Collins for Wilson, or maybe it was the other way round.

Basically said goalkeepers are a tight unit and if you start dropping a keeper after a couple of mistakes you're going to end up not just destroying the confidence of the keeper you've dropped but affecting all the keepers at the club because their mindset will change to make a mistake and I could be out.

To be fair to him he’s had his teammates playing themselves into trouble too because they’re incapable of moving the ball on in one or two touches.

Shan’t disagree! Not sure I’d have dropped him, but you can see us dropping goals down to lack of concentration between them all. It always look disorganised and ungainly, There’s a time for AAATB, it’s not always suitable though.

Exactly, we’ve been lucky,2 previous seasons have been great, wembley twice, usual slow start and everyone’s losing it, we were top of the league 21 season after 9 games, won 6 drew 1 lost 2, we finished 12th,
Spacings need attention 😂 looks like top of the league 21 time's I think?🤔

But she’s not involved in tactics or role plays in the field ? It’s the coaches that need shaping up !

It’s everyone. Scouting, coaching, performance, tactics. The lot. We look devoid of ideas and the players look confused and knackered and lacking in confidence.

Let’s hope that changes starting today.

Swapping keepers isn't exactly an uncommon trait with Robins.

Since he took over again, I can only recall the season when we won Lg1, when Marosi started every league game.

Wilson has played in the league every season since.

Genuinely can’t get over how bad the performance side of the squad has been this year, the first year we’ve got a performance director.
I agree. The backroom staff have been poked and prodded about more than ever pre season. Could possibly of unsettled a few. In the name of progress let's hope they get some confidence back and start playing like we can.

The performance director doesn't pick the team though. Its more the science stuff?

i'm all in favour of us getting a dedicated performance director. no issues there. what would worry me is if we've gone from not having one, to following every word they say without challenge.
surely, introducing a radically new way of working like this needs phasing in. i hope we are doing that, but the current chaos suggests otherwise.

Expectations have dropped off drastically…..which is a good thing. We need to get back to having to earn every point and try our damndest to work our socks off again and the fans need to cheer every tackle and piece of hard running like they were doing previously.
It seems the fans went into sync with the players in expecting to turn up and the opposition would be inferior and just roll over. When they didn’t fans got angry and the players got sulky.

Dovin has come in and done okay. He's quiet, he doesn't particularly command his area or come for crosses, and he has absolutely no urgency at all.

But he's young, literally moved to a new country two months ago and signed for now and the future.

Him taking a rest game is not an admission of bombed out or a failure as a signing. The modern world short termism is utterly terrifying.

Good chance we'll be in the bottom 3 if we don't get something today. The pressure will really start to build then

I’ve rarely been on here last few weeks. Has it really turned that sour. Have people been suggesting we’ve outgrown Robins yet?

If he isn't up to it yet then Wilson should have started the season but he was clearly brought in as number 1.

Chopping and changing the GK after half a dozen games is not a good look.

If Robins now feels that he is "one for the future" then I would question why we bothered signing him.
