While I don’t think he would be what we need atm wouldn’t the option if we were going to loan a player be Ryan Howley?

With only four Cms though, doubt we could play anymore than two while keeping depth in role unless you move Joel up to cover.

we can rotate the four we have for the 3 roles we need plus as you said lati and the U21 players if we really need it

if we go with 2 in cm then teams will just flood that area against us

Why do people want us to go three at the back? Don’t you remember how horrendous we were last season before we switched to a back four?

And we played really well with it for a few seasons before that because we looked terrible with a 4. Last season we started with 3ATB and moved into a 4 when it was clear that wasn't working. Who's to say the opposite might not be true this year.

5-2-3 would suit us with the injuries we have and it is an attacking formation.
