Reid is still carrying an Achilles injury. In an ideal world Dabo would be fit & Dacosta move to the left for Norwich. Think that's unlikely so big ask for Reid to firstly get fit & then thrown in at the deep end! Might be Dacosta left & Pask right for that one - not ideal.

If Reid is fit, play him. Yes he might have a torrid time but it’s a game we’ll probably lose anyway and we’re not exactly blessed with options.

Reid if fit, would like to see how he gets on.

Da Costa left & Pask right is likely.

So it won't be them two!
Why make two changes for one position, just bring a left back replacement could be Shipley but we have four central defenders so anyone of them, as for Reid he has experienced Scottish Premier so if fit why not.
Stuart Pearce went from Southern League Wealdstone to first division I think it was QPR the next week.

Plenty of options. Mcfaz could come in and put Rose or Hyam there. Pask and DeCosta left.
Hyam or rose at left back ? This isn’t football manager on the PC

Reid is injured mason we didn’t recall and Giles left as robins didn’t use him over his golden boy mccallum “loads of options”

Absolute nonsense

Think if we choose to stay with wing back system it will be Pask or Osti RWB and DaCosta LWB.......
We could move Osti to wing back and play Rose, Hyam & Fadz in the centre?

However focusing on the Cardiff game first one game at a time .....as how we do there will depend on how we set up anyhow against Norwich I think and bodies available could also change if people pick up injuries or come back from injuries.

Not sure why we didn’t bring mason back tbh in the January transfer window

Could be another fuck up
Mason hasn't been in the St Mirren squad for the last two games. The last time he played for them he actually played left midfield. He hasn't done anything to warrant being recalled.

It will be interesting to see if Joe Newton is on the bench on Saturday. Has been a regular for U23s. Obviously a big ask but may be worth starting him with a plan B if he is out of his depth. That's assuming Reid isn't fit. However I think it is odd that Mason wasn't brought back. He may not be as good a wing-back as McCallum but he is good enough and they could always return to back four, in which case I think he is as good as McCallum.

The fact he has been playing on the wing is even more reason to bring him back. The extra forward experience will surely help if he plays wing back. He was doing well there but has had some injuries.

Didn’t Robins say he was putting himself about in training? How come he’s still injured?
