Seems a hell of a lot worse than towards the beginning of last season, where I thought we had a player.

I heard Barnsley fans say that was an isolated game, if it's the one I'm thinking of, and it was put down to the fact he knew he had a move, and so was distracted one way or another. I think he had a downturn in form which coincided with when that move was being hashed out, sounded like he wanted the transfer.
I think thats true, but at that point when I heard that I thought he ain't no battler, at the very least you would think he would have tried to give a good send off for himself and the fans, but I know that could have scuppered his chance to move but it was poor attitude as we are seeing now...he was also caught out of position and ended up fouling to give away the pen...Robins has publicly said when he got sent off here, if he was in the right position he wouldn't let a player get the wrong side of him

I’m not just saying this with hindsight, as I’m sure I said it on here at the time, but I never understood why we wanted to spend £4 mil on Kitching. It’s one of the maddest transfers I’ve ever seen us do, firstly we’re spending £4 mil on a player from Barnsley which is just mad full stop and secondly his highlight reel wasn’t particularly amazing anyway.

I think our recruitment needs a big overhaul tbh, it’s patchy at best. It’s great getting players like Sakamoto, Van Ewijk, Rudoni etc but when you couple that with Kitching, Collins, Simms, Dasilva, EMC (and even Wright who is probably only worth what we spent on him tbh), then it’s not looking like a particularly good department of the club.

Remember at the time we were also looking at Cashin from Derby. Wonder if well regret that once since rumours are there’s interest in cashin for around 8 million.

You'd have to imagine if he was a bellend overson and fadz would stay well clear ?
I was thinking the same, doesn't add up to me. Overson seems very popular with 'the old guard' that people swoon over so i can't imagine he'd be up for Kitching hanging about if he was a total bellend.

Would argue that no current player is there with them. Like someone posted you can be arse at work and ok outside.

Dunno, maybe you could write an essay about it.

Our XGA is 6th best in the league. The goals we are conceding are down to goalkeeping errors and individual mistakes.

I feel bad for Robins, if Wilson and Kitching don’t make errors for the Wednesday equaliser the game could have easily turned out the same as Blackburn
Completely agree

Bidwell - Kitching - Thomas - van Ewijk
Dovin

The above should be our default starting back 5 imo, and we stick with it. Unfortunately sounds like Bidwell will be out for a bit now though
Bidwell has been poor apart from Blackburn so even though I don't rate Dasilva, I don't think it's much of a downgrade atm. But yes, the rest just needs to stay like that for a while with minimal pissing around.

It was Robins that made the decision to put the clown back in goal, so don't feel too sorry for him.

I don't feel bad for him at all regarding Wilson, that's completely on him.

What does it mean that he's an arse at work though. Does he shout at the players like mean old Adi? I thought we'd decided the players were the problem there? So if they don't like Kitching is he the c**t now or are they?
Or are people just tying themselves in knots trying to find reasons we're shite?

Only shared what I heard. Didn’t ask why he’s viewed that way. So might just be one staffs opinion of him. Although based on other comments it doesn’t seem that way.

I was hoping for better from Kitching really struggled to keep up with their forwards when they were running with the ball on Saturday If Bidwell isn't available I would prefer Binks as left back over JDS, JDS is too weak at defending, he will be given the nod probably as part of a back 5.

I'm not having a go at you, share away. But it's odd how peoples perceptions change... Players don't like Adi - Players are cunts. Players don't like Kitching - Kitching is a c**t.

Oh I get what you mean. Yeah it’s difficult to know if someone actually is or just not liked. Still can’t believe Adi was let go. Unless it was for something serious, it feels like madness considering his role with where we are.

Recruitment team needs ripping up and starting again. When you put it like that their hit rate is disgraceful.

Wright and Simms combined got nearly 40+ goal contributions last season. That was a success?

So what’s happened this season?
