Mumblings on twitter that Gills have accepted a bid for Luke Norris from us. He's a 23yr old forward but Can't see us spending money on transfers personally.

Just had a look on a forum of theirs and they seem to think he's moving on as he won't get games their. Not a signing to get the blood pumping if it is us

Yeah it's a bit like going from:
A hard working, takes no prisoners, part of the spine of the team.
To :
A 31 year old journey man , from the well known super power Orient, probably wouldn't make our team.
Amazing what a move away does to a fans opinion of a player. ;)

Six figures is only £100k - I can see us stretching to that. Have no idea if this is the right way to spend the money but Venus is better at this than me.

Yes it is - but nobody thinks that this purchase is nearly a million do they? All I'm saying is that six figures is affordable for CCFC.

Well that's the beauty of change - when situations change actions can too. When was the last time we paid anything before Vincelot? Mowbray has control and can spend the money how he wishes.
