Options off the bench were reasonably limited though at least from an attacking perspective - Paterson maybe but they were a big team Luton. Rapha would have been a bit of a gamble.

I reckon there’s probably frustration that they took simms off and then Walsh gets sent off. He’d probably have stayed on if they knew that was coming. Could have gone two up the middle then.

anyways it’s gone. A lot of ifs, buts and maybes
He could have put BTA on after Walsh got sent off rather than wait another 24 mins.

Its still in our hands, thats about all you can say. Norwich looked pretty good at Middlesbrough and could have easily won that game. Boro were nervous.
Lets be honest Millwall are pretty shit, we’re shit, Middlesbrough are bang average. It could go to anyone…but playing Sheff U is going to be a different prospect for the lucky winners.

I think it entirely depends on recruitment, if the club go and recruit 3/ 4 players that are top draw, we really have a chance.

I've been a massive critic of our defenders, but Kitching for me has really impressed of late.

If we had someone on that left hand side that was as mobile as Milan/Sakamoto and had the work rate to want to track back and help out, it would make a huge difference.

The goalkeeping situation is honestly destroying us and Simms playing is another massive negative. The guy does absolutely nothing and it's bad enough with Haji's lack of work rate, but at least Haj actually scores goals.

I genuinely believe if the board and scouting really get it right in the summer we can make a serious push.

I'd like to see half a dozen new quality faces. Not many of the current lot that I would be gutted to lose. Dovin, Thomas, Rudoni, Grimes, Kitching,MVE the rest not to fussed either way

The thought crossed my mind during this game, when we were down to 10 men, and we couldn't get out and creating nothing, that this is basically what it would be like watching us in the prem every week

Collins distribution is really good though, a key part of our game. Just saying.
But that's the thing; when he's playing so badly in all other aspects of his game, you have to have the pragmatism to tweak the style.

Yes, he can ping a decent long pass, but that shouldn't be the attribute you are picking you goalie on.

57 years supporting this club, and I’ve seen some shit play for us, but Collins and Binks must be in the bottom five worst players ever to wear are famous shirt, Colin’s has to be the worst
How we still have it on our own hands god only knows, maybe like in 1987 our name is on the that playoff trophy
How much we will have to spend to even stand a chance to stay up is in the region of what forest spent first year they went up
Whatever happens, as long as Collins never plays for us again after this season, I’ll be more than happy to take.

The seasons going down to final game of season for a chance at playoffs. Despite poor results towards end of season lampard has done a phenomenal job this season

Anyone saying different has an agenda. Simple as that.

Good evening to you all! Keep the faith PUSB
Yep he's done well. We've had some bad injury problems to contend with but we're right up there. If we see it through and get top 6 it's a phenomenal effort really and i can't believe anyone would have thought we'd get that from where we were when he took over.

Simms is feeding off scraps in terms of chances though - fair enough people can go on about movement and work rate. But at Plymouth Simms had one chance and got it on target and it led to goal. Today he had nothing.

wright is a striker that plays on the wing - so I think naturally tracking back to protect the full back isn’t something that’s in his make up - that said he’s had enough time playing out there to get used to it.
Would help if he had a first touch

Anyone else see that guy spitting at our fans at the end? He was standing up on a pillar.

Guy behind was shouting at the copper [pc 949] to do his job, he just ignored it.

They really are scummy fans.

You can't be serious, the number one job for a goalkeeper is to keep the ball out of the net 🥅
