Manchester Airport Incident (13 Viewers)

I’m willing to hedge my bets that almost half of the people at the March today have problems with all minorities

May well be the case

But as I say I was just shocked. It weirdly mirrors what I hear from my friends and colleagues also.

I have a lot of Sikh friends, and when we were discussing the election weeks back, they were saying how they feel a definite shift even within their communities on how they feel that certain beliefs or backgrounds will never integrate into the british way of life and embrace the country like their previous generations did

My view? It's not hard. You move to a country, you embrace their ways, their laws, their mannerisms, and the way they live. That's what the Sikhs did, the Hindus, those who came over from the west indies, Jamaica etc. They all embraced Britain, made a life, a family, worked hard. And in return, Britain did the same, British people adopted cuisine of those who emigrated, british people love the music of those who emigrated, British people forged close communities alongside those who emigrated here, with happiness and acceptance (granted I know there were utter fucking Nazi National front scumbags around at that time) I would 100% class all my friends who may be Sikh, Hindu, catholic, Bajan, even fucking Albino as British

That's what is lacking for me, and that is in my view what is stoking the fires. There are those mainly over the last decade I feel, that could not give 2 fucks about integration, want to make thier own areas, their own rules, act how they want and do what they want

I've had a had a drink with my neighbour who's Muslim but it's fair to say he is to Islam what I am to Catholicism.
Well yeah, and it is indeed worth noting just that, that most people are an 'identity' in name only really aren't they. At the end of the day they're just a bloke / woman / transsexual.

How old are you?
I'm asking because blacks and Sikhs went through the same shit, Id imagine you can't remember it. But there were a lot of similarities

Might sound stupid, Ive thought this for a long time, but both those communities drink, and eventually and lot of differences were put right over a pint.

That's obviously not going to happen as much with Muslim communities.

I'm 34 mate. So I'm only going off what I've researched, read over the years. But yes you are right there were issues around then.

A pretty valid point you make. And Sikhs can drink, Indian Weddings are phenomenal haha

It's so annoying. The perpetrators clearly behaved appallingly and it could gave been all about that if the copper hadn't kicked the one in the head and then stamped on his head.

It's deflected the whole incident.

I get the police being allowed to respond, but when the guy was on the floor and restrained, that should have been the end of it.

Feel sorry for the police, but you can't behave like that unfortunately. They are highly trained to handle such situations.

He wasn't restrained though, yes he was on the floor, but at that point the officer was pritty much on his own against two violent aggressive people, who moments earlier attacked his two colleagues and attacked him from behind, he couldn't trust his colleagues, as both were easily overpowered and one was still clearly rocked from the initial attack. In that moment, I think he was fully justified in making sure he wouldn't be getting up anytime soon while he dealt with the second person.

I'm pretty sure I saw that solicitor on foleshill road on the back of a truck with a microphone preaching about Gaza. (If it was gazza I might have voted for him)

Yeah it was him.

Quick Google shows he likes to stir racial hatred, faked a racist incident and had to apologise for his views on women.

He tried to set an angry mob on a teacher. (Female of course)

And equally he dives in bollocks deep to whatever his client tells him regardless of whether there may be evidence to the contrary.

Daft c**t.

Daft c**t.

How can he actually be a lawyer when he's just interested in being famous and actively lying on TV?

The footage shows it was her son who hits her.

You only have to look through his tweets to see his agenda.

He's just straight up lying to whip up and angry mob and divide.

Have they arrested the lads for assaulting a copper yet ?

I think we all know that they won't arrest either of them for it because they're too scared of the backlash from a certain background

And tbf if they do arrest them and they kick off, off the back of tonight's released footage, the riots I spoke about above will come to fruition, I really think at that point people will have had enough and retaliate in kind

They'll get done and the copper will lose his job.

Just back from the cricket and seen the video for the first time, makes me a bit sad. Two wrongs have never made a right. The copper imo should still lose his job, but that bloke kicking off in the turquoise needs jailing. What I've not seen is what the other guy in the grey did. He's lumped in with all this, but not seen him involved in any footage.

Well Im shocked that Galloway is doubling down

Imagine comparing these 2 incidents? What a fucking clown.

Denial of what happened at the air port? 🤣

Wish that c**t was in the Nile.

He reminds me of somebody who would defend women's football in comments just to try and impress a woman.

tbh quoting George Galloway is going to come up with something a little less intelligible than my cat can manage, so probably not worth it.
