8800 season tickets sold so far .

Probably be 9000 by the time the memberships go off sale next week .

9000 by the end of May is good .

Very possible we could have 10,000 season tickets sold by August with a couple exciting signings too .

Plus we have match packages etc .

We will have a decent average this season I'm sure

It's a difficult one to predict as usually I'd say it's unlikely we'd sell many more ST's following the end of the 'early bird' special, or in this case the Membership package, as the majority of fans who would've wanted a ST would've likely already taken advantage of the discount.

However, due to the current circumstances there will inevitably be a myriad of reasons as to why people haven't bought one yet. Concerns over mixing in large crowds, personal financial situations, waiting on an update regarding the June 21st lockdown reopening etc.

Also, I don't doubt if the club bring in a couple of marquee signings that will augment ST sales too.

It'd be a fantastic feat if the club managed to hit their target.

Wow. Getting criticism for putting your wife and family before football......
Your a bit sensitive? I am not being critical of anyone specifically I was suggesting in relation to a earlier post that to go from an avid fan to not even watching when we are on TV is a big switch. That was the context of the comment.

With regards to family and the wife. In my view if you can get them into coming to games that is the best way, however a healthy relationship is one that blends everyone's priorities. If a man willingly sacrifices his identity too far he long term may also loose the part of himself the wife fell in love with or she may grow to just seeing him as yes man. Bit deep, only my view.

“We would like to thank each and every Sky Blues supporter who has purchased their Membership, especially in these circumstances. We know that excitement is building ahead of our return to Coventry and the new Championship season, and everyone is looking forward to the 2021/22 campaign with fans back.

To sell this figure already, with still over two months to go until the season begins, is a fantastic achievement. Once we are able to put on sale our regular Season Tickets, the numbers will undoubtedly continue to rise and we are confident that we will surpass the 10,000 mark.“

I know we rightly bemoan the fact that given our constituency we are such a poorly supported club, but if nothing else it shows we are on a strong, upward trajectory. I just hope folks will be managing their expectations for anything other than mid table at best.

Really positive. With a few good signings and more clarity over whether restrictions on stadium capacity are likely to be lifted then I think we stand a good chance of hitting 10k.

VAT and kids tickets , so will probably be nearer £2m before hospitality

Revenue per ticket was £10/head at the Ricoh I believe (or close to that). Depends what you think we lost in crowds, but say 10k to make the maths easy and that’s £100k per game/£2.3m over a season. Even if it’s not 10k a game, reduced ancillary spend, reduced ticket prices at Brum, and rent aren’t included in that figure.

I think £2-3m per season is a fair estimate of the cost of St Andrews.

I reckon by August we'll have reached 10,000

Got absolutely nothing to base that on though

For the following season, ditch the membership shirts offer (we've got enough of them !!) and save the club a few quid, and put the price of season tickets up a bit more. The discount to pensioners (over 60s), although a big saving to people individually, should be less of a discount imo, as these supporters are probably the most loyal - will have followed the club forever -, but also have the most resources (better off financially - can't prove it, but strongly suspect that to be the case). The club needs more revenue, and this group (me included) are the ones who can afford it (runs for cover!)

Think the shirts were just during Covid so you had something to show for your outlay if stadiums weren't open. Be surprised if we do it next year.

Still have the scarf and see so many fans with them in winter, these small things go a long way for the club loyalty with fans and isn’t expensive

The announcement by the PM stating people will need to be fully vaccinated to enter large events by the end of September..... will this apply to football?
