Yes I did say it's all down to our fickle fans...
My point is that us and Sheffield Utd are miles apart and are better in almost every possible way. That includes the fan base.

The reality is Sheffield United have consistently averaged 20,000 fans in the league - have consistently had a big budget - and haven't until this season achieved promotion.
Portsmouth in the division below are only achieving promotion this season after being by far the biggest team in that league.
The reality is these owners won't put any money in as no one will invest in something that's not likely to get a return
As per usual a post that blames Sisu for Sheffield Utd's success and not Ours descends into a slanging match.
Why is it that whenever a OP mentions SISU & there's a disagreement that this automatically means that they love SISU?
Sheffield Utd have better players and a better squad. They own their own ground and consistently get high attendances (even when they were in the old Div 3 &4). They have owners that have consistently invested in the squad.
What they haven't had for years is a decent manager (which they have now).
There's a whole lot of reasons why Utd are top and we are bottom-not all of them SISU's fault.
Managers, players and yes supporters are to blame (would we have lost at home to Sheff Utd this season if those protests didn't happen?).

Look I hate SISU with the best of them , and nothing will change as long as they remain .
but when new owners (if they ever) take this club over , at some point the so called fans of this football club HAVE to start backing them if they ever want to see their club rise again

Two of which are ex-city... oh the irony!
When the owners do their job (whoever they are) and back the club, so will the fans. IMOLook I hate SISU with the best of them , and nothing will change as long as they remain .

Also let's not forget that they haven't averaged 20000 once in league one.
England historical attendance and performance
Nice guess though, but as you are a stickler for detail I thought it would be worth mentioning.
It makes the "city till I die" songs from Sunday seem even more ironic.
Will have to re-word it to "city till I tie if we are winning, if there's an offer on tickets, if I can get a freebie, if we play a big team, if we play at Wembley"
Owners come and go, fans don't pick and choose their football team.
You talk some "Utter Bollocks" at times.
It's not bollocks though is it. Fans shouldn't abandon their football club because of the owners. We'd be in a much better position to achieve success if half of the Wembley crew turned up most weeks. You talk some "Utter Bollocks" at times.

a distance for 30 + years, the one thing I always had was hope, hope that this just might be
The year. As far as I can make out all hope has been extinguished at this club, the owners
Openly tell us they're not putting anything in, so why the fuck should I.
To attend a game costs me £200 odd quid and a full day, if the owners were doing their job
I wouldn't have a problem with that, but how can I justify it now.
Of course if I lived round the corner like you, I'd have a ST and be a super fan like you.

Therein lies the problem. We DID have regular gates of 20-24k when SISU bought(I use that term loosely) CCFC. Season upon season of bad management sees us where we are now. Fans have proven what gates are achievable. Don't misplace loyalty for fan fickleness. The vast majority of the CCFC fans at Wembley want to be at the Ricoh every other week but see that it doesn't matter if they paid £100 or a 100 pence for a ticket, NONE of it goes back into the team to make it successful. Trust me when I say this. This Football Club is a "Sleeping Giant" and when the right owners are in place will show the whole of British Football that a Poxy 12k Stadium is nowhere near big enough for the fans of Coventry City FC.
The Sisu spokesman defends the Sisu cause again. He has the club he deserves?Sheffield united have been in this league - what 6 seasons?

You really need to understand that after 10 years of complete chaos on and off the pitch that the buck stops with the owners. It's really not difficult it the same with any business.
As to 'Sisu lovers' again if you had you eyes open and brain engaged you'd have seen year after year of subtle and none so subtle apologism from a mouthy handful on here. They are the ones who express undying love for the club whilst supporting those killing it, you couldn't make it up.

So none of the ticket money goes towards the team? Have a word.
I miss the weekend, it was bullshit free.
Fans have proven what attendance is achieved if it's an occasion. Nothing more.

... and then we have the ones that defend Sisu and Grendel.fuck me, as well as bullshit we have the irony out to play.
And going to "Support SISU at Sixfields proved some fans will take a beating, roll over and say Beat me again."
... and then we have the ones that defend Sisu and Grendel.
So it's the fans fault. They need to turn up and support a poorly funded team first? Can you explain how that statement offers any defence of sisu. The fact is even at £10 a head their revenue this season is what - £2.7 million more than ours?
Supporting would be 'not' going to Sixfields in this case.I went to support CCFC you retard. You know, "city till I die"?
