Just finished my last call for the day. Middlesbrough bound. Whatever happens it's been a great season, I just hope we get one more game after tonight.

Sidenote: Also whatever happens, I will not be looking or feeling anywhere near as fresh on tomorrows teams calls.

Boro W 9 D4 L 5
Not much in it, Home advantage is the main thing. If Hamer is truly fit that will be a bonus.
Penalties ?

There does seem to be an acceptance it’s good enough to be the bridesmaid and not the bride on here.

It could be a one off opportunity. None of the relegated teams are in the play offs and the league is very tight - the relegated teams next season are likely to be strong and we have a new squad to be build

A game against Middlesbrough and Luton to reach the premier league will be as “easy” as it’s going to get.

The relegated teams this year were likely to be strong. Don’t think anyone would have had neither Norwich or Watford making the top 6. Take your point on our rebuild though, if we don’t go up there’s a huge opportunity (assuming significant incoming fees) but possibly an even bigger risk.

This is our highest league finish in 22 years with a weak squad and giving the league a 10 game headstart. It does seem you’re getting ready to slate Robins for not pulling off a footballing miracle.

This game is one of the clubs biggest game in it's history.

I've not been able to keep still all morning.

Little positives for us, Ally McCoist on TalkSport said yesterday that Sunderland and Boro would be the play off final. He was wrong once, I will continue to believe that he will be wrong again.

Tonight's game will be watched from behind the sofa.

Do agree with Grendel to some extent

this summer our recruitment has to be absolutely spot on, we’ve got the right people in the right positions to do this though I think, well Mark and Adi

It’s a massive game

but this season has been a massive success regardless, to finish 5th in the championship is a success with everything that’s gone on I don’t care what anyone says

but I don’t think we’ll be up there next season what with the transitional summer we’ll probs have, I reckon we’ll be mid table

few main things to do tonight

let Norton-Cuffey Run at Giles

Be on top of the ref everytime Akpom goes over.

keep their midfield tight so they can make the through balls to archer and akpom

I specifically remember we were never going to get another chance as the league had never been so weak the season before we won league 1

I'm honestly not overly concerned about the likes of Everton and Leicester. The way they've fucked up this year can easily be repeated in the Championship

Think about the Wembley piss up

Not for me. I chose to book a holiday to the south of France when we were in the bottom three, not envisaging the potential of Wembley.

Always excuses when city do well , weak league , weak relegated teams , grass was too moist , never going to happen again , the pope set a spell on the rest ..

We're a good team

Agreed but it works both ways. If we lose tonight I’ll be seeing posts about how proud people are and we should be happy about what we’ve achieved.

I won’t be happy unless we win promotion. If we don’t the season is not a success

They are big clubs but coventry should be looking to aim for the playoffs again .. the club will already be planning to lose vik and probably hamer and will have targets

Giles is decent going forward. Not so hot on the defensive side. We definitely need to be trying to take him on and pushing him back, so he has to focus on defending rather than attacking
