What if anyone does agree with the fisherman ? So what ? What's your issue with it.
Let's say you're out a few hundred yards in a very small motorised dinghy. Suddenly you see a boatload of migrants heading towards land but one of them has fallen overboard and it hasn't been noticed. Clearly they cannot swim and are in danger of drowning.
At the same time someone else is screaming for help but in another direction. Appears to be a British holidaymaker
You are equidistant between the two. Who do you rescue ?
Is the person who rescues the Brit a racist who hates migrants/ foreigners. ?

What if a Brit has been swept out to sea on a lilo and no one has noticed. All of a sudden a dinghy full of refugees appears over the horizon and rescue him only for Pritti Patel to push them back towards France causing the dinghy to capsize killing everyone one on board including the Brit they rescued. Is the person who pushed them back a Brit hater?

Who would push them over a few hundred yards from the beach ? You're in dream land. It isn't going to happen . However , as the number of boats increases then the chances of a Brit drowning because the RNLI are too busy being distracted by migrant boats increases.
Once this happens I suspect there will be many more people unhappy rather than one irate fisherman.

What if, what if ? What if one of them ends up a teacher ? What if one of them ends up a physiotherapist? What if one of them ends up software engineer. What if one of them blows up a bomb on the London underground ? What if one of them becomes a shop worker ? What if one ends up a plasterer ,? What if one ends up a social worker ? What if one becomes an electrician. What if one goes to prison for knife crime ,? What if one becomes a roofer.
I'd expect them all to become something eventually, otherwise what's the point. And I'm sure they'll deal with racists, ex cons, left handers, disabled, feminists, lazy bastards and Villa fans.
