The 'subject to any further positive COVID-19 test results' bit, the players were tested yesterday weren't they? Will they be testing again before the game, thought the EFL required 2 tests a week?

How does the testing actually work, is there any oversight or do the just take the clubs word for it? That article says Millwall wanted the game off, assume there's something in place so they can't just fake a couple of failed LFTs to get their way.

It will be Millwall who jib I guess if anything - I reckon there would be a reasonable walk up if definitely on as people missed their football buzz and maybe the weather backed off a bit ( rain)

So is that saying they have 14, then one more positive means the game is off?

Very convenient.

I assume this to be true as it is official Millwall correspondence. The EFL have set a precedent now and in theory will have to apply that consistently. It will be interesting to see how much that changes the amount of games postponed at the weekend and beyond.

See the 'ITK' twitter accounts are now desperately hoping its off so they can be right. Tragic really isnt it.

They got it right tbf...

Well done to the EFL. No excuses. Millwall have an under 23s set up, they can fill the rest of the bench with those.

They will all be sneezing on each other.

If we had Moore, Dabo, Mcfazdean, Hamer, Walker, Gyokeres, waghorn, Clarke Salter unavailable would you think we should try and play?

Unless they have played a game they don’t count do they?

The covid tests are PCR, and are confirmed independently as far as I'm aware.
Surely if Millwall were thinking in terms of something devious, they would already have got the numbers below the 14 threshold before now.

But are they unavailable? You constantly come up with these theoretical scenarios.

Well if they had Covid they would - millwall players live in a high infection rate area. The point is they can’t lie to get the game called off. If the players have the virus oddly they have it

So like I said, try to manipulate it to get games off.

So they are faking Covid results? Out of interest why? Are they frightened to play a team with 2 wins in 12?
