if those players had Covid I’d expect the game off. It’s also not what I’m asking would you not cry foul if we had Wilson jobello Shipley Tavares hillsner Drysdale De Costa having to play against a fully fit opposition if they tested positive?

It’s no different to a spread of illness or an injury crisis. Norwich didn’t try and call games off last season when they had theirs did they?

When’s that likely to happen? In your head?

Not vexed in the slightest.

You asked for evidence of one of our players isolating without having it. It was said by robins a couple of days ago.

It isn't just positive tests that will stop players.

I'm just correcting your shite.

So this isn’t then a case of that player making false claims? So there is no evidence that claims are false? Robins didn’t say this player was lying did he?

If the players I’ve listed has Covid they’d be in the squad and many playing

What the fuck are you on about? Robins said the player didn't have it so what is there to lie about?

I never said the robins thing was a player lying, I said players will have to isolate just from contact even if they don't have it.

"It isn't just a case of testing positive"

It isn't.

I don’t know why you are so vexed. I just asked for supporting evidence of faked results as I personally don’t believe this is happening.

They don't need to fake tests. It's 14 players available. I wouldn't be at all surprised if 1 of their currently available players picks up a "knock/minor injury" which combined with the Covid cases takes them below the 14 available threshold.

Leicester had 2 injured players on the bench at Man City

Well in that situation it should be called off anyway

If they've only got 14 would it have to be a positive Covid test to call it off or would someone getting injured in training be a reason for them to gwt it postponed ?

Let’s suppose we have the players you listed injured during the run of rearranged games. I take it Millwall will do the sporting thing and postpone so they don’t have to face DaCosta and Shipley?

What are you on about now?

I said to get games off it doesn't have to be just positive tests and gave an example of a instance where a player is unavailable for us without actually having it.

Agreed. I’d be shocked if they don’t manage to get it postponed. Their statement today is just setting expectations ahead of tomorrow morning’s announcement that they have picked up a few knocks or had another positive test. Call me a cynic..

It's ok though, Grendel thinks it should be off.

Spending too much time listening that the world is going to end on the politics threads.

It's hardly tin foil, is it?

You're saying the game should be off because they miss their best players, people are saying that Millwall will try their best to engineer it being off.

They can't lie about positive COVID tests though. He's also right, if the boot was on the other foot we'd be backing the club to get it called off by hook or by crook.

Rotherham cancelling games to avoid relegation

Stoke game off conspiracy

Cardiff game off - called off to avoid playing with a half fit squad

millwall faking Covid tests

Luton - tested last week probably want the game off

Ok

It isn't tin foil brigade. They clearly have a better chance of a result with the missing players added than without them.

What is it actually that's driving us to allow games to be called off because of Covid cases but never because of injuries or other illness?

I wouldn't, I want all games to be played.

They can engineer the number of players that they have available. Naive to think otherwise.

If they haven't kept to the protocols then why shouldn't they play? Would be the same if it was us and all of our players got it.

Squads being to borrow an unfortunate phrase 'decimated' by injuries or sickness aren't a new phenomenon. If a game can go ahead then it should.

As mentioned before, I may not be able to attend tomorrow; if not I wanted to watch via ifollow, as I thought midweek games were available to watch on ifollow? Only shows audio passes as available ; (
