Nothing upsets a landlord more than their tenant not paying their rent. It was always likely the landlord would want to deal with anyone else at all, even another Hedge Fund, than a defaulting tenant.
I think I'm right in saying the original 'investment' was by funds managed by SISU. The loans are made by AVRO. The interest on the loans may not be anything they think they will get back but it ensures they are in the driving seat should we be put into administration again.
They probably don't think about it. They've told Fisher it has to be self sustaining so its just sat there not costing them anything and they can hang around for years. From what we are led to believe Fisher and Venus aren't seen that often either.
