Fair enough I've not done that analysis but still find it far fetched. Why didn't Mowbray mention it? Can't remember whether he or Mowbray went first

CVD is right, you are mad but on this particular question you have a point. They could take an interest in the club like they want it to succeed by choice. They’re Zombie owners. Come the end of the season they may need to make a contribution to balance the books in line with governance but that wouldn’t be by choice so shouldn’t be sold as them some how backing the club and manager. I doubt they will need to this season though given the FA cup run.Ask yourself. Could Sisu do more to get us out of here ?

If the owners were concerned about our debt mountain increasing they wouldn’t keep applying interest to it. Lots of owners lend clubs money interest free and then write debt down by choice when the gamble hasn’t paid off. Lots of owners can’t do that so spend time, energy and effort in making the club successful, Accrington being the topical example.Any owner could. An owner could lend its club a couple of million and it could still fail - then what?
If it’s to be believed Mansfield have ploughed a lot into the club. It’s still not definitely going to succeed.
Do you want our debt mountain to increase again?

Sisu could
In for £50M in for £52M so yes.
Keep it keen at the start of the season and if you are still in the mix in January just speculate a bit.
We are going to struggle from now on.
We probably will if Joy keeps getting the starting 11 and formation wrong.
Your persisting with this.
If Robins has had to compromise on the team he wants can he be blamed ?
if his resources are limited and has to switch the formation to rest players can he be blamed?
Okay any manager can make mistakes but should learn from it.
It's not worth sacking him for where we are though.
Having said that I assume he took the job knowing the situation so okay your sort of right

When SISU finally go and whoever picks us up runs us properly at break even, some of our fans are going to be in for a right royal rude awakening.
What short memories you all have
Mark Robins walked out on us when we were in our first season in Div 3 , we were doing ok , he had won manager of the month in the previous month we had a real chance to get back into the championship. Pure greed and disrespect for CCFC meant he left us with you know who in charge. I cannot forgive him , will not forgive him for that . Looking back it was a very disruptive event that led to our eventual decline into D4 as we missed the chance to get back in the Championship, lost players etc.
Make no mistake the first opportunity he will jump ship here for any self motivated reasons.
Hmmmm
Somebody must have hurt you very badly! you may not be able to forget but you can't forgive him?
it wasn't personal that he left any more it was personal that we sacked Slade, it was business.
As for it being disruptive then I believe it is way down the list of reasons why we are where we are. Are you forgetting that two years ago we were in a prime position to go up to the championship? Would Robin have got credit for that?
Can’t see us getting rid of sisu anytime soon unless some sugar daddy turns up with silly money, Why would they go ?
true, but if they sort out where we're playing and can demonstrate some sort of viable long term plan for improving the club I'll live with it. If they actually care then that would be a massive bonus but I don't want to ask for too much!!
What do you mean if robins has to compromise on the team he wants? He is a league 2 manager.
Every team will have resources that are limited, we have one of the largest squads in the league.
He didn't rest players, he brought in players who were unfit and moved our best central midfielder out wide.
It's madness how much you try to scrape the barrel.
If I didn't know better (element of doubt) it sounds as the only people not to blame here are Sisu ?
In a thread about manager's decisions they probably aren't to blame.
In a thread about a made up stadium you would get the opposite answer.
It's not rocket science is it?
No, It's a thread about sacking the manager.
Sacking a manager that is working within constraints by the owners.
I've already said I don't want him sacked, you are the one saying it is the owners fault for tactical decisions that Robins makes.
That's why people are saying that isn't their fault or down to them.
I still remember when you were abusing people and going frothy on them for not supporting SISU aswell, now it's they are to blame for tactical decisions.
They will go when someone meets their valuation of the club, at the moment any bid has been poles apart from what they feel the club is worth. Lets face it, a League 2 club with little to no assets isn't attractive to a buyer unless they are a city fanThey won't go if there might still be something in it for them.
Get the legals out the way then there is no point staying.
Which is like me putting what I know on a forum for brain surgeons.Never abused anybody on here.
If putting opinions and what I know in front of people, then guilty as charged.
Are basically going to go through this debate every time we lose/draw and/or drop out of the top 7 even if we're only a win away from the auto spots?

pretty much.......Are basically going to go through this debate every time we lose/draw and/or drop out of the top 7 even if we're only a win away from the auto spots?
Italia can you go back to your extended leave again please?
personally I would rather be in the championship and have to pay an additional £20mThey know exactly what the club is worth. I think they want tens of millions above that.
I would sooner new owners buy it at its worth and loose the £20M say on getting us up the leagues.
Given the very existence of threads like this, I wouldn't begrudge any manager who upped and left.I wouldn't say we were, I don't even think we were in the play off places were we? Although we had recovered well from a horrendous start to the season we were in 8th place and 7 points off the play off places when he left having checked up. We did get within a point of the play offs having played 2 games more by the end of January 2013.
I'm willing to give Robins the benefit of the doubt, it annoyed me greatly when he left but considering what came in the months following that, you cannot really blame him.
