So, i actually need advice! Long story short, I've have to give up training martial arts as i've fucked my hip up and the risk of injury is starting to become a bit of a problem with work, gutted
I'm thinking of joining a cricket team, my mate plays locally at a very low level on a sunday and i'm sure i could go along with him if i wanted. Love watching cricket and only stopped playing as a kid because i didn't have the right temperament at the time. Really not sure what sort of gear i'd need though? I've got some white jeans and a white shirt i could use (jokes) Would i need to get the whole lot of kit, pads etc? Don't wanna turn up looking rag bag, but don't want to turn up with loads of swanky gear only to realise that i can't really play cricket and look a prize twat. Some gear is so expensive, how would i pick the right bat?
Getting old is shit, but the idea of playing cricket every sunday, team mates, dressing room piss takes, seems like a good idea?
