I’m now thinking of a Cov Scottish 11!
I’ve whipped up a very quick and inaccurate 11…

1. Jim Blyth
2. Paul Telfer(?)
3. ???
4. Gary Macallister
5. Gary Gillespie
6. Steven Pressley (😀)
7. Kevin Gallacher
8. David Speedie
9. Willy Carr
10. Sandy Robertson
11. Dougie McGuire

I got bored/ran out of steam. Please do a proper job!
Davie Bowman! He had a shot on him.

Or Sakamoto

Especially in a time we aren't playing with Wingers and have 2 x RWs sat on the bench along with Tavares who has tended to play there for us.
Sakamoto is in the picture. We just don’t have 2 wide players available to play a formation that best accommodates him so he’s a casualty of a forced system changed.

5-3-2 is a well balanced system for the squad of players we have available atm.

Morning Ash

Ashley Cain was an unbelievable athlete when I used to run with him back in the day. Never seen anyone like him, he was a machine even when he was like 14. Was so impressive to watch him in the 100m sprints.
Won pretty much every race bar one. Was a long time ago but I think when he was 14/15 he was running 100m in something like 9.7 seconds

Think i prefer this to the Sorba Thomas rumour and i don't think he'd have been bad either.

Looks rapid and travels well with the ball.

Looks like his final ball needs work, few times there where a simple pass would have lead to a goal and he shoots instead. Looks exciting on the ball though. We really need players willing to take a man on.

Fastest ever British 100m at 14 is impressive indeed

Started off the season well but lost place due to injuries.

The problem with Scottish players is other than 2 sides that would comfortably play in the Championship he wouldn't come up against many good sides. And he plays for one of them.

Just hope he’s alright playing on right, he hasn’t got a chance playing once Emc and wright are back on the left

He's pretty versatile. Which is why we're probably looking at bringing him in.

If this does happen then it's a back 4 i guess

he needs space to run into and doesn't have the trickery to play in a 3 as part a of a 3-4-3

I like Matondo, think he's a good player from when I've seen his highlights.

Do not understand this signing. We had 3 wingers on the bench last night and another 2 injured , where is he suppose to fit?

I think he can play across the front 3 from my understanding, Wright isn't going to be up to speed any time soon and if we are moving back to one upfront the only rw we have is saka (and tavares who's not getting a look in) Lampard loves wingers.

Personally see Fabio as a striker. Raphael is a develop project so won’t start. This lad has experience and therefore would be starting on either wing and provide cover for both. Might even push Sakamoto out
