Good work. You’d think a journalist might ask for that to be explained. I will at the next supporters forum

It’s just the lies mate. It doesn’t matter in the long run but I don’t appreciate being taken for a prick TBH.

It will be fobbed off with a Brexit line.

A long lease with an association football pitch may be. Not what we have now.

Many clubs share with other sports.

Reads to me as though CCFC & Warwick Uni are suggesting they have held further talks and now as a result of said talks, CCFC are no-longer interested in the CBS.

So moving out of Coventry was all for nothing.

Sooner we get out of the Ricoh the better. Wank stadium
In what way ? Terrible atmosphere ? That's what everyone said in league 1 and 2 but not in this league and certainly not in the Prem.
Street parking ? Not the fault of the stadium.

It’s interesting you see it as a lie. I don’t think it’s as black and white myself but I may be being too fair

It’s a lie. While it’s ongoing it’s “we can’t stop it” then when it ends it’s “Aren’t we great for stopping it”. Both can’t be true.

They’ve been taking the piss for years and playing off people frustration, love of the club, and mistrust of politicians to give everyone the run around. Hopefully they’re bored now and will actually try and run the club.

The idea a major cultural institution could exist as an island away from the other institutions of the area was always arrogant fanciful nonsense. I hope Joy has learned a lesson in hubris and the differences between running a hedge fund and stewarding a football club with great history.

Nothing but contempt for them. But you know this.

It was a silly gambit by someone who didn’t understand what they were doing and who was badly advised by a bunch of cranks with an axe to grind. The best we can hope if that Joy is bright enough to learn her lesson and won’t try such ludicrous tactics again without speaking to someone with an IQ slightly higher than a fridge first.

I wonder if there were any agreements made by the council with respect to approvals with the new stadium in exchange for the withdrawal.

Isn't the land the are looking at the land earmarked at the Warwick Campus isn't it in an WDC not CCC controlled area?

I also think when they said couldn’t they meant wouldn’t and I’m going to push this and not accept a misunderstanding. I agree if they could have then that should have been clear

The first attempt at Northampton was a reasonable strategy and on the balance of probability could have worked

Aren't Wasps bonds due soon, is there a coincidence in the timing, could the club buy into the stadium?
My thoughts as well. i guess SISU have been picking up bonds at rock bottom prices and then filling their coffers as well. I wouldn’t be surprised if City remain there and Wasps bugger off to Warwick Uni In a swap. But back to the CBS. Fit for CCFC is better than that of Wasps. SISU ….. a failure.

We won’t be building a new stadium. It’s as realistic as Santa, the tooth fairy and Sunderland ever being a good side again.
