Such a manager will still say that developing players is much easier if you have some model or established pros there to help them, case in point McF improving Doyle for a whole season.You appoint a manager who is happy to work with young players and has a proven track record of developing them if that's your model.

Yes, of course I agree, if we were to fall to L2, MR would not be the manager. That will not happen though, especially not under him.
Even if we struggle for the rest of the season, he stays. He deserves the chance to rectify the problems in the next two windows, we're not getting relegated.
