I respect everyone's deduction in not not going on the pitch, not blowing a whistle etc. But some people criticise others who are trying to make a difference by protesting. People say they were disgusted to be a city fan on Thursday! Bit of an overreaction.
A few on the radio after said they were embarrassed and disgusted. The overwhelming majority supported it though from what I've seenI doubt many did. Very few had any issue with it

Can the dark clouds get any larger? What do you suggest we do instead?I'm not criticizing anyone. I'm trying to raise the issue beyond just protesting. Because protest are one thing but not having thought for what might come next is a critical mistake.
It's because of this I'm not so convinced protesting will achieve anything for CCFC at it's current crossroads other than bring even larger dark clouds over the club and the sense of doom.
It should not be about SISU out without regard to what's next but more about how to replace SISU.
The thing is sisu are not going to sell unless there is a legitimate buyer, I just don't see how protesting is going to attract that buyer. I'm not saying don't protest, I support the protests that have been going on. But you can't go criticising other people because they have a different outlook to you, sisu's biggest legacy is the division and disinterest of the fans. No matter what goes on we should support and encourage each other. Can the dark clouds get any larger? What do you suggest we do instead?
I feel like there are a few who criticise the protestors and say"let's fill the stadium" which for one won't happen and if it did it would just line Sisu's pockets. If you don't agree with the protests then fair enough but don't come on the radio and say you're disgusted or embarrassed about a protest when we all have one common goal. The thing is sisu are not going to sell unless there is a legitimate buyer, I just don't see how protesting is going to attract that buyer. Nope.if it did it would just line Sisu's pockets.
Why wouldn't it?Nope.
You really need that explained?!?Why wouldn't it?
Do you really think Sisu would invest all that money back into the club? If so I'm afraid you haven't learnt from the last 9 yearsYou really need that explained?!?
You've not read the accounts?Do you really think Sisu would invest all that money back into the club? If so I'm afraid you haven't learnt from the last 9 years
No I haven't. Would you care to explain briefly what they say? You've not read the accounts?
Who cares about them. It sent out a messageAnd of course Alianating the opposition supporters at the same time by the look of it. My ears are still ringing from the constant whistling! My misses shouts that i am deaf old git at the best of times but that made it worse.

EXACTLY. And that is the thrust of this thread.
1) A united protest is something we can get behind. - and probably a lot more fun than blindly following an undermined club heading for another relegation.
2) Leading contenders:
A) Whistles - impossible to block
B) Balls on pitch - tennis and or Beach?
C) Retaining match balls
D) Involving support from other clubs - as at Charlton
E) Pitch encroachment - 87th minute?
F) Sit in after match
3) The coverage of our plight is greater and more vociferous than ever as society becomes increasingly pissed off with the toxicity of neo liberal politics and globalisation as exemplified by largely anonymous off shore hedge funds.
As a symbol of this struggle and how these
cunts fuck over communities it would be hard to find a more apt example of this growing problem.

PAXMAN -
This is an evolving situation - probably the endgame. Do we give up and support an intolerable situation or demonstrate with our passion that whenever new owners materialise that there is still a cause worth representing?
Please, stop fearing what you have no control over. It is self defeating.
Paxman ,Northern ,Nick , Do you think it is our duty to raise the funds to buy the players to get out of this division? You've not read the accounts?
Nobody is saying you need to go out fund raising are they?Paxman ,Northern ,Nick , Do you think it is our duty to raise the funds to buy the players to get out of this division?
That's up to you then isn't it?I look for Sisu investment ,then i support . Tim says its the other way round.

Why is it wrong? Do you want ccfc to spend more than it earns?Tim knows you look for the CCFC badge ,thats why its so wrong.
Do you want ccfc to owe joy any more money than already?Just seems that the onus is on the fans to turn out in their thousands to watch poor football so that joy doesnt haveto put her hands in her pockets. Thats the fundraising im getting at
