Is it going to be another goal fest?
Should Burge have come for that cross?
could be right!
I;m going for 4-3 again, but no idea who to?! At lesat this should convince them to release the purse strings (you would hope)
Agree, as he can't play it out short we lose it every time he hoofs it.I hope Mowbray doesn't use the 'we had to make a late change and that unsettled us' excuse. Not that he seems the type, but Burges performance so far is indefensible. Whether or not he was the original starting keeper, he has the same warm up every game and there's no defending this
lol if you think Northampton is some sort of grudge match you need help. The relevance it has is you said prices are reduced which isn't true for everyone.
And wait, did you just say Burge is an exceptional goalkeeper
Think its more of a case that the players Mowbray wants are hard to get
BBC saying the cobblers have had 2 shots on goal and 2 shots on target both goals.
Terrible! Long keeper kick, their man chases it until the death, wins possession, holds it up, quick couple of passes and only a last ditch block prevents a 3rd
Ball went over the top but he stayed rootedBurge is causing our back four problems..
Is anyone listening on the radio? What's the story with RCC not playing at the last minute?
His recent performances are suggesting that he's a waste of a wage. Why not give that Elford a run out?Fortune is a waste of a position so far, rather a young lad played
We play in L1, have not been in the same league as our "biggest rivals" (Villa) for years, and we are unlikely to be in same league as our closest locational rivals for the foreseeable. Add the above to the points I raised previously and the original post holds true. There is no need to resort to insults - poor form.
Burge is exceptional, are you not watching? Nothing he could do about those goals, not even Neuer could stop those. He is a lot better than RCC, who wants a confident keeper anyway?
