Yeah he needs a rest. Just looks a bit unbalanced with those two, we need a ball winner in there which if not Eccles has to be Lati (as poor as he was on Tues), or even Kelly.

Looks too lightweight for me, hope I'm wrong.

Allen is the one confusing me, can only really be for Eccles or O'Hare and neither is ideal. Robins has suggested Eccles needs a rest but I'm guessing it's for O'Hare and we're going for a flatter 3 in midfield to try and stodge things up a bit? I'd put Simms up top as well, so guessing he'll go with

Turns out it was the 2nd one. Glad that Eccles is getting the rest he needs, having Allen and Torp as back up is miles better than we've had before.

Would have thought Cal will be playing in front of Allen and Torp and Allen largely in a defensive role?

No idea though. It’s a good team on paper but I will reserve judgement until 3 minutes into the game.
