With no Sakamoto it's either going to be Lati to right back and MVE playing more advanced, or a switch to 3 at the back as we don't have a left winger either.
I think 3 at the back is most likely here, try and grind out a dull draw away from home

Unless we sort out our defending we will ship goals at Norwich. We definately miss a Mc.Fazdean type to keep them organised and in their rightfull position. I saw Thomas get pulled out wide yesterday exposing the middle. Someones not doing their job right. Defensive midfielders also not back helping out enough.

I’ve stopped looking forward to games again, it has become that lacklustre. Only 8 months ago I was waking up excited for matches. This is a step up from the dross we’ve played recently so we should get pasted…….a draw would be a real success.

I’d give BTA a start… he’s had no real opportunity to shine so why not!! It’s basically a dead rubber reading the comments

Norwich are a side who like to attack, not like Millwaaaaaaa who sat in or Cardiff who didn't seem to know what they were doing. We may well get chances to score, but we need to be clinical if we get 1 or 2 opprtunities.

Bidwell

Sheaf
Eccles
Torp

Rudoni
Simms
Assante

Assuming Saka is out, have Rudoni on the right (left footed, like Saka) and give Assante a chance to prove he's not totally useless on the side that favours him.

Not the team I'd pick ideally - I'd drop Sheaf for a start! - but meh, it's what we've got. Need a left footer at CB to stop everything going down the left side.

If Raphael can do 50-60 mins at full tilt, f*ck it, him in place of Saka and drop Sheaf. Eccles sitting, Rudoni and Torp as 8s. Not like we'll keep Norwich out is it!

For me Rudoni must play in the middle. He is currently by far more effective than Sheaf/Eccles/Torp.

Be interesting to see what the attitude to the cup is this year.
There's a few could do with a break I think.

Pressure will be off so the players will become world beaters again. We'll get to the 5th round, possibly the Quarters.
