It is the predictability of it which robs me of my enthusiasm. In the old days one of the joys of supporting Coventry was the possibility of the lads turning over a vastly superior team. Granted this did not happen regularly but it was always a possibility which made supporting the team exciting and a pleasure.
Even our most optimistic posters hold out not a cat in hell's chance of this lot returning from Carrow Road with anything other than a defeat.
It really is that depressing!

Frank hasn’t got time to turn around these woefull performances, with the “ deck “ he has inherited , so it won’t come as a big surprise , if yet again , we return from Carrow road with nothing .
A complete conundrum, as to whether we turn up for 90 minutes ( very unlikely ) 45 minutes ( as usual ) or capitulate after 20 ….
The joys of this season supporting the City

Can't see anything other than a loss unfortunately.

No wins in the last 11 games against Norwich.

Another bogey side.

We are you know, I don't know how, possibly another sending off, Simms to score with BTA getting the other b, possible draw!
I think both barndoors and banjos are fairly safe with Simms and BTA on the case.

Without EMC and Wright 433 looks impotent. We need to go 4-2-2-2 with Simms and the Hound up top and bypass our midfield which is currently frustratingly ineffective at effecting games from out wide.

Dovin
MVE Lati Kitching Bidwell
Eccles Sheaf
Rudoni Torp
Bassette Simms

I was thinking the very same thing this afternoon. It's ridiculous.

I wonder if there are readily available stats on this.
Scunthorpe united , fucking hated playing them we rarely won I'm sure

Shrewsbury town another team we did shit against in recent years

I would just like to see us have a clear plan of attack. Cardiff were there for the taking, an absolutely pile of unadulterated crap, and we struggled against them even with a man advantage.

I could see what Cardiff were doing, play it into areas and get runners down the channels. They weren't very good, at all, but you could see what they were trying to do.

Us, on the other hand, seem to get the ball to Sheaf who's dropped deep and play it sideways until we try a lofted pass which is overhit and out for a goal kick. It would make the sideways passes more bearable if we had a clue what we were trying to do!

Not feeling positive regarding this one, what with Naaaarch being a bogey side but if FL could tweak the formation to suit players available, then maybe, just maybe we'll only lose by 4....

... Would take a draw here anytime tbh.

As Nick has pointed out , Ashley Barnes just returned to Burnley .
A player that can ultimately put his foot in , with a footballing brain , to see a game out , two things that our expensive squad can’t somehow do .

6-0 loss. Someone is going to give us a proper hammering soon. Cardiff had a few glorious chances on new years day that better forwards would have put away.
Not helped by playing on himself initially and also team/coaching staff carrying on with a thowin after it went out of play.

Lost out one man advantage and put Saka at risk of worsening injury.

It used to be the other way around in past. Almost always beat them at home.

Part 2 of away trip journey from Manchester to Cardiff and Norwich games with stays overnight in Bristol, Birmingham and Cambridge.

I too am pessimistic after what I've seen this season and even more so after what I saw in first half at Cardiff. I've been to eleven games and not seen us take the lead yet in any games. Just 3 draws overall and 8 losses. Seen 5 goals in 11 matches and only against two clubs!

Perhaps consider having a look around Cambridge tomorrow instead?

I dont believe in all this superstition bogey team crap but the truth of the matter is we have a leaky panicking defence, a midfield who seem to have forgot how to run forward and pass the ball at speed and a front line that needs 20 chances to score a goal.
we are crap and DK talking about a top six deck is a joke.
Fully expect a drubbing here 3-0 loss the only saving grace is Sargent is out injured
