Tats got some right 'treatment' at Carrow road last year from Sainz in particular. If he does play, I hope that they make the referee aware that he needs an element of protection.
I really Wasn't looking forward to the trip tomorrow but now I know that Josh Sargeant is injured I am slightly optimistic.

He makes up part of our best front 3 which in my opinion will prove to be EMC, Wright, Sakamoto. I do wish we'd invested in another right sided forward though rather than stocking up on central strikers.

Whilst on paper, that trio looks our strongest forward line, I'm not convinced Wright is as good centrally than he is on the left. Personally think we haven't found the right CF/ST/No9 yet.

Doyle will put one on him early and all our players will just stand there probably

When Wright is on I’d expect him and EMC to rotate with each other into the left wing and centre like Norman did with him first half at plymouth

I don't think that rings true of Bidwell at all, I can't remember a match where he hasn't got a couple in when playing, quality not quantity, whoever gets on the end of them really needs to make more of them, well that's my view.

Personally think he'll be keen to get them both on the pitch. Wright could also play right side too though, imo.

Yes I expect both will play. Just how it all works will be interesting. Probably like Goblin says, some freedom to rotate between themselves.

I'm not say Bidwell can't cross, he can. Just that EMC or Rudoni's are considered better and encouraged more.

Against my better judgement I'm going to this as I've never been to Norwich.

Leaving the house before 6 tomorrow as my local train service keeps cancelling trains due to the rest day working issue. Don't get back to Manchester until 2342.

Hard to see us getting anything at this point, but Norwich aren't as good as previous sides they've had, so hope springs eternal!

Same arrival time for me Fernando but I left house before 6 but on Wednesday!

If Avanti don't get you back by that year, I think you can apply for a partial refund.

The decline in the form of MVE as much about Tats as him.

Repeating myself but yet again on Wednesday MVE declined to go right because he could see Tats hugging the line with a man on him so MVE did the smart if unspectacular thing and turned inward to at least retain possession. Tats movement off the ball is a contributory factor. He needs to take the ball 10 yards in so there is space for MVE to overlap. The injury to Tats could be a blessing in disguise. The Championship's coaching staff and defenders have got Tats' number.

Rudoni & Bidwell have been much more successful at engineering space for one another. Unsurprisingly midfield funnel the ball that way. But then we come predictable....

MVE has said explicitly in an interview that Tats is told to stay wide and open up space in the channel for MVE to exploit

The biggest problem with Sakamoto is that he's too slow to move the ball on, he wants 5 touches when MVE has already gone beyond him. You do see it time and time again where he needs to try a first time or at least second touch forward pass and he just won't do it.

I think the full backs have been told to be inside the wide players and not overlap. Makes sense as both Bidwell and MVE aren't as good at crossing as say EMC, Rudoni and Sakamoto. MVE mentioned it in a previous interview.

The issue isn't that Sakamoto is not positioned correctly. It's that the ball doesn't get to him quick enough from Thomas or MVE. And then in turn when they do get around to looking to release the pass, it's too late and he's marked.
Sorry to disagree, but they do plenty of overlapping on the left when they get the chance, but MVE can't get outside Tats without climbing into the front row of the stands. Tats is a stationery target and surrounded. All that Tats can do is pass it back to MVE so MVA cuts out the middle man, ignores Tats and passes inside. Time and again

For reasons best known to themselves, Cardiff stopped close marking Tats so there was some output on the right wing in the second half. Nothing to do with being 10 men either. If you've lost your sole striker, you still have all the men you need for a packed defence

Well its not working is it, we have effectively neutered ourselves. Nor are they doing it on the left.

Also that doesn't change the point, as what we are missing is MVE using his pace to get to the byline. His defence has still been pretty good. He is still a player. It is what is happening around him that is the problem, be it because of Tats or from a misguided deliberate ploy by the management

I can't see how we're going to get anything out of this game, but then again it is CCFC we are talking about. It isn't beyond the realms of possibility that we somehow shithouse a result for no good reason.

He is on 7 bookings currently so he is not suspended. Eccles and Lati are both on 4 but now past the cut off point of a suspension for 5.

I think we will get something from this. We have been struggling lately against sides that sit back and hit us on the break. Norwich certainly won't be sitting back and will leave us space to attack.

We never win at Norwich, and all my work colleagues are season ticket holders at Carrow Road, so fearing and to be honest, expecting the worst. My prediction is a 3-0 defeat, and me to be unemployed come 5pm tomorrow after dropping the C bomb in the work group chat.
