Just wonder if they are using this as a bargaining chip in any negotiations that may take place, ie. offer us a fair rental agreement and access to revenues and we drop it.?
ACL didn't "accept" the lesser sum, they got what was decided. I don't recall any comment from ACL on this yet.@TheSimonGilbert: Sisu always said would appeal. ACL accepted less than £590k towards Ricoh debt. Appeal might not be barrier we think.

Yup, the best way to avoid a court date is to negotiate an out of court settlement.

It appears that SISU are very much a one trick pony in their approach to negotiation.
"Play hardball", "batter the other side" etc etc. that's fine if you win, but that seems to be less and less likely as the days go by.
Will there come a point at which they see the need to build some metaphorical bridges?
As Einstein said, the definition of insanity is to carry on doing the same thing and expect a different result.
I hope that in parallel to this disappointing news, they are talking to ACL and stressing that they will be keen to drop the appeal if a settlement can be agreed - and I hope that, if so, they are being realistic about what might be achievable.
Sixfields and the minimal attendance is irrelevant.
900 non Cardiff supporters, well there probably was some Cardiff and independents within that 900, would be interesting to know how many were full price tickets.
The appeal was hardly unanticipated, very clearly stated that it would happen.
I wonder what the basis is, no doubt it will come out over time.
Hopefully this will put an end to back the Ricoh threads, but probably not.

No new evidence can be submitted. The only basis that an appeal can take place is if Justice Hickinbottom interpreted the law wrong.
@TheSimonGilbert: No official confirmation, but we definitely understand Sisu's appeal will not be a barrier to Ricoh negotiations. http://t.co/inL2s8SIWO
You miss the point, there will be no negotiations now.
It could be a bargaining tool while they negotiate? It can always be withdrawn. Just trying to see a positive in what blatantly appears a negative!
Wonder if anyone can answer this?
i've heard that SISUs costs so far if you include ACLs come in at between 1.5 to 2 million pounds,if they go through with this and lose again what is the estimated cost in total that will ultimately be loaded onto the club?
ACL are to blame.
In the fairness of debate, is there any comment from the Sixfileders to make any sense of this ?
As has been clear all along it is the only bargaining tool they've got. Otherwise, to be frank, they're at the mercy of the not so generous ACL.In the fairness of debate, is there any comment from the Sixfileders to make any sense of this ?
