Honestly would be disappointed if we ended up at Burnley or Sheff Utd, feel we’ve got as good a shout at promotion next season as them.
Agreed, I'd like to think we could make a good case to him vs those. Think the danger might come from abroad, Championship seems to attract a reasonable amount of interest these days.

Yes they both look very strong this season 💪, both are shite
There’s been only three seasons in the last decade where at least one of the teams that won promotion hadn’t been relegated from the Premier League the year before. As overmatched as they may be in the PL, the odds are in their favour in this division, the bookies will be reflecting that too.

Yeah, but it makes it all a bit grubbier than “I want to play at the highest level”

Not really grubby to accept a load more money for doing the same job.

I have a problem when premier league players who are already getting paid £500k/week go chasing money because that doesn’t change their lifestyle…
but if COH went from £15k to £30k for example that changes your life and why wouldn’t he.

Burnley, Sheffield United, quite possibly Everton and two from Southampton, Leeds and Ipswich. Add to the usual suspects like West Brom, Watford, Norwich, Sunderland, Middlesbrough, Hull and maybe even a wildcard like Preston or Portsmouth.

There’s never going to be an easier season around the corner

Why two from Soton Leeds Ipswich?

They’d have a much better chance - they’ll have a stronger squad and more money to start with.
Have you not noticed the strength of our side?

If Everton get relegated there's a good chance they will implode. Absolutely seriously in debt. Not only will be players desperate to leave but they would have to sell just to keep afloat. Their players will be on serious money. The other two sides will also lose players. A lot of it will come down to how they replace the players they lose and how they start the season.

Some seem to struggle with what we have now and that's without strengthening again during the closed season.
