I'm not fully against expected goals and stats but they only seem to pop up when a team is doing poorly.

Doug can't keep a manager just because we've got high expected points.

Most club use stats tbh , fans have access to limited amounts .

They mean something mate .

Nothing other than Dougs had this in mind since the second Adi went in my view

I sound like a stuck record, but this is Dougs toy. No one else is allowed to tell him how he should play with it. There were some grubby fingerprints on it (Robins and Viveash) from the last people who owned the toy and he cant have that because he wants his new toy to be all shiny and only his, and if anyone offers advice or help on his toy or goes against how he should play with his toy then they are told to get fucked

He won't like the ego bashing he's getting at the moment put it that way. Couldn't wait to get himself on Talksport when it was going well. Hiding away like a little bitch now he's being asked by media outlets for comment now he's made this decision

King a little bitch, you wanted Robins out, everyone is shit- I’m surprised you’re not demanding the tea lady gets sacked

Shocked by Robins going, Thought my friend was pulling my leg when I got the text. I feel like it's a mistake and that the problems we have run deeper than MR.

It is hard to argue against the decision on recent form, and some of the things MR was solely responsible for, such as tactics, changing game plans that weren't working and subs, hav been open to criticism for a long while. But even so we seemed to get enough results to improve.

Press release expressly stating we're getting a head coach tells you that this is part of DK's restructure and probably something he's been looking at for a while if MR wasn't fitting into that new structure.

However that person is is on a hiding to nothing. They will be having to get good results and decent performances from the off to keep fans onside, and a small number will just be waiting for them to lose a few and have some poor performances.

Carr has to set the team up to b willing to attack (or at least break quickly) if he doesn't want Sat to turn toxic. If we play a similar style as yesterday it is going to be a horrible atmosphere.

I do sympathise with whoever is appointed really. They will have impossibly high standards to be held up to in large part because of how this has been done and MR’s high popularity with most fans.

Oh nonsense. Another with issues with women in authority.
What part of that post says I have an issue with women in authority? Get off your high horse you fucking cretin and read what’s written.

People, irrespective of sex, are allowed to be questioned and criticised.

I can fully buy in to the King is the problem idea. The biggest accolade he has is that he’s not SUSU and has done some planting at Ryton. It’s easy to tart up a training ground when you receive £35 in transfer fees. He’s laid out nothing and made a string of piss poor decisions. The most serious of which is todays.
Transfer fees made and with more to come from them, from the foresight of Robins and the coaching skills of him, Adi and Dennis. Not only success on the pitch but if he'd been left alone he'd have made the fame hungry ego driven money grabbing c**t even more money.

Unless I have missed something, has any of the current players posted anything on social media ? I’d be shocked if someone like like Lats who’s active on X and was seen as one of Robins favourites wouldn’t have a few kind words to post

Doubtful. Probably still sulking around as victims of the situation.

A speculation on my part but it looked like SISU finally got their act together when she sidelined Tim and took more direct control herself. Roughly coincided with the appointment of Robins so the difference was not appreciated and SISU's charge sheet was already very long. SISU trusted Robins and left him to it even if funding was minimal
Fisher was the one who persuaded and brought Robinson back.

Head coach as part of a continental modern set up. Consisting of reserve ex goalkeeping coaches and unknowns. The head of recruitment was a none league manager wasn’t he? The only one with any pedigree at all is Boetang. Fucking Real Madrid system on a pound shop budget.

Whoever comes in needs to get off to an immediate winning start or it will be horrible up there.

Robins taken the bullet for a shoddy recruitment effort in the summer and King running the club based on Modern Football for Dummies.

We should have a thank you whip round for MR. An M&S voucher is always appreciated this time of year with Christmas on the horizon.

As the old sixties song goes 'I woke up this morning, you were on my mind'. Still feel as though there has been a death in the family.

I know that. But I wonder if relegation shocked Joy and she was definitely much more involved thereafter

Yes, I think that’s probably correct. If only she’d been involved more at the start and it wasn’t left up to Ranson to mess things up.

We should probably remind ourselves that the general consensus on here was recruitment was very good and we should be making Automatic Promotion, playoffs at the very least.

In a similar way that recruitment was made out to be awful early on in the previous season, when it turned out to be pretty good.

Its easy to be critical in hindsight.... very easy.

(for the record i think yesterday was an awful decision, but there's always a huge element of risk in signing players.... this season's crop may well come good, although the signs aren't looking great)
