It's fairly safe to say we wouldn't be able to replace the same style, it's if we could get the effectiveness.
Nobody can say for certain until we know what the fee is surely. If management budgeted/thought say 6m for ohare and we ended up getting 8m, who’s to say the difference wont be available for reinvestment. You’d hope that’s the attitude at the club anyway
Would be crazy to sell him for that. Can't imagine we would entertain it.If we got 7.5mill up front plus let's say, 10% sell on, i'd be quite happy with that for O Hare, but it sounds like we might be holding off for even more than that.
I've criticised O hare before for lack of end product but he's started pre season on fire with about 5 assists and i'm now scared of losing him. I'd get rid of Hamer to protect O hare and Vik for us tbh but it sounds like no one wants to put up any money for Hamer. I do think we look at him with sky blue tinted glasses on tbh
Where’s the fun in that? We’ve been way too successful over the last 5 years…Is it not worth waiting to see what happens before losing heads over it?
Surely it depends how much we get? From what I infer from believer posts, the outgoing wage of the player is what Robins will get, which well…isn’t much really

There's no way we're getting 10 mill for an attacking midfielder who gets 3 goals a season.Would be crazy to sell him for that. Can't imagine we would entertain it.
Seems to me there will be a few on here disappointed if he doesn’t.Is he definitely going then?
I criticize COH but now he’s being linked to other teams I really don’t want him to goSeems to me there will be a few on here disappointed if he doesn’t.
We are in a strong position
Fulham offered £5m plus a huge salary and got turned down
Burnley will have to offer substantially more
Mind you COH would fit into the Burnley ethos, never say die, up and at 'em

If I was COH, I would only move to a better situation for him. Burnley isn't a step up particularly and the location is inferior to where he is now as being from Solihull. Burnley isn't exactly glamorous as someone based near Bury.
COH is very talented and I would be setting my ambitions higher. He will always get offers so no need to jump at this.

I’d take one sale
If we sell two I’m really really concerned about the season ahead

We've already sold Shippers, so if anyone else goes for a fee, that'll be two !
Yes the Ribble Valley villages haven’t a patch on Shirley
But at least they understand his accent in Shirley (no by 'ecks or whippets)

Think his availability on Saturday will be the biggest clue
If it was as nearly a done deal as suggested, I'm more than a bit surprised he was involved against Wolves U23s yesterday. Why would the club risk a player on the verge of a big money move. Would seem odd to me.

Or we just didn’t bring anyone in, that would be great and really contradict the mantra of ‘sisu will give MR the funds to adequately replace him’If he did go I dont think there's anyone in this league or below who could replace what he does for the team. There are better players sure, but his overall contribution would be hard to find. We'd be looking abroad or prem loans
