They spent an extra £2 million on a player we didn’t spend an extra £2 million
This is ridiculous
Apparently Forest don’t pay their players, they just pay transfer fees for them and that’s that. They spent an extra £2 million on a player we didn’t spend an extra £2 million

No Brighton lad, was on loan at Birmingham this season, didnt get in much at Brum but I think he would be good back up to bring in with another AM who can startDo you mean Leeds’ Tyler Roberts? He’s gone to QPR for the season
By keeping them we have spent Over 2 million in wages No? Point is forest spending 2million didn't get them promoted. It was the loans. They'll suffer badly this season

I think you’re confused mate, it was Fulham who flogges Carvalho for a few mil and that was this summer not in Jan, it was never completed in timeThey also flogged carvalho for a few mil
That's a wider issue, not just SISU.

Other clubs invest, not with loans and free transfers.
Oh right, completely forgot he existed. ApologiesJoao Carvalho.
Hamer isnt linked with them though?I shouldn’t look on Twitter bunch of nutters a Burnley fan has just put that they have taken our best two players from last year, O’Hare would be near but Maatsen
Free transfers can be long term investment. See O'Hare.
Can’t wait to stuff them 4-1 at the CBSI shouldn’t look on Twitter bunch of nutters a Burnley fan has just put that they have taken our best two players from last year, O’Hare would be near but Maatsen
selling one of our best players and replacing him with a loan would be appalling businessI don't mind replacing him with a loan player as long as it's the right player. Would like to see the money invested in an actual signing though. Loans are great to supplement what you have with additional quality, but shouldn't be your core.
What if it was a quality player we signed on loan?selling one of our best players and replacing him with a loan would be appalling business

We’d still have to replace them next season, and unless they were a complete step above I doubt they’d make the difference in terms of getting promoted to make it worth it.What if it was a quality player we signed on loan?

Got lucky with that one.

The offer comes via his agentSad news, but your last point is a bit concerning. If a club offers x 3 in terms of salary to entice the player, it implies they then offer next to nothing in terms of a purchase price to try and unsettle the player (re: wages) How can a player be offered a salary before any sale has been agreed. That seems plain wrong. If C O'H is off, I think we all wish him well (except for 2 games) and await with interest what we do between now and the end of the transfer window.
9m for Ohare considering Huddersfield have let O'brien and Toffolo go for 10m between them really isn't that badBurnley close to agreeing Callum O'Hare deal, with separate bid planned for Scotland international
Burnley are close to finalising a deal for Coventry City star Callum O'Hare and are also planning to submit a bid for Jack Hendry, TEAMtalk understands.www.teamtalk.com
£9m according to this site - don't know if it's reliable ?

My 10 year old daughter just got a little upset when I told her o hare was probably goingawww
Maybe £8m plus add onsNot heard an actual figure, but heard less than £10m. I guess we'll have to wait and see, sure the actual figure will come out somewhere. To be honest, the important thing is whether we can at least reinvest some to replace with a couple of quality players. I'd be disappointed if the £6m figure is true but suspect it's not far off.
Enough in that to help the management there.Maybe £8m plus add ons
