Funny how you cut the bit where it talks about expected assists and how he over achieved. It's also about quality of chances created. You also skipped the part where they talk about his actual goals to expected goals being half what it should be.

He SLIGHTLY overperformed his XA, i don't think a slight over/underperformance can be used to read much, as xG/xA are a very debatable figure depending on which model is used etc.

As for his goals, everyone would agree that it's an area he needs to improve, but that doesn't have anything to do with his creativity

I read the offer was just shy of 9m which we turned down. Burnley have parachute money but massive debts. Apparently they have reached a ceiling in what they can afford and have other options.

So the parts that suit your argument can be used but the bits that don't can't be... Makes sense.

Nobody is saying he doesn't create or isn't a great player. They just aren't creating an overinflated pricetag.

i based 10 million looking at what the Prem teams are paying for foreigners who may not even like playing here - dont forget his wages are peanuts so the money has to come in the fee - hes a friggin bargain at 10mill anyway i hope he stays and this whole thread is a bunch of cock :ROFLMAO:

Burnley aren’t premier league - we can’t get premier league clubs to buy them

Is this coming from the same source that told you Sunderland were skint?

That's odd I thought Fulham got promoted

They offered a price a championship club would - and Better Days said that could even include add ons - it’s a price for a minor squad player who’s rarely featuring at that level

My point was about his creativity... so I spoke about his creativity, rather than his finishing. If he could add finishing to his game we'd be looking at an even high figure (and from a higher club), similar to that Brentford paid Hull for Keane Lewis-Potter

You discounted assist and expected assists due to it not being a bit enough difference for you?

For somebody that creates the most chances in the league you would expect the figures to be the other way around at least.

It's fine if you don't want to discuss an attacking midfield players goals...

Who gives a flying one shot expected assists and goals, watch the bloody game and you can see who the best players are without this nonsense
