I’d love to know where you get all these reports and info from Pax!Burnley are looking at other options currently, according to reports. They can't bid and buy everyone obviously.
For me it will come down to how teams are progressing come January. If we are top 6 our players will not be going anywhere. If we are bottom end and say Burnley top 3 or 4 then I think he goes. But then again if we are bottom end, does that make him not the player they thought he was?
TBH think we will be top 6 and so will Burnley!

ben sheaf is overly smiley - I don’t like it
Anyone here reckon we might just see where we are in Jan?
Because lets be honest if we can add Adaramola to the squad thats a top 6 squad easy
I admire your optimism, but calling a squad that has back up options in central midfield of Jamie Allen and an 18 year old who has played about 30 minutes, centre backs of Hyam, Rose, McFadzean, an 18 year old with no Champ experience, and someone who played 1 game for a top 6 side last season, 'a top 6 squad easy' might be pushing it just a little far.thats a top 6 squad easy
I think that squad could challenge for the top 6 though with a bit of luckI admire your optimism, but calling a squad that has back up options in central midfield of Jamie Allen and an 18 year old who has played about 30 minutes, centre backs of Hyam, Rose, McFadzean, an 18 year old with no Champ experience, and someone who played 1 game for a top 6 side last season, 'a top 6 squad easy' might be pushing it just a little far.
We have a handful of quality players, some steady players who can compliment them and an exceptional manager. I don't think anyone else would be looking at our squad on paper and saying 'top 6 easy', in my opinion
The other worry I have is we have a poor start, and it makes any replacements harder to attract to the club.Ridiculously, the window shuts 7 games into the season, we could start the season with all of the "big 3" but lose any combination by the 1st September!!

I see what you're saying and yes there is a lot of uncertainties. However do you not think that if the stars align, i juries are ok and Doyle and Panzo recreate their previous class that we aren't a top 6 side?
If were full strength (on the assumption Adaramola signs)
Moore
Dabo Hyam Fadz Panzo Bidwell
Hamer Sheaf
OHare
Godden Gyokores
Subs - Wilson, Doyle, Rose, Kane, Adaramola, Allen, Palmer, Tavares, Walker
You'd have the likes of Kelly, Waghorn not even making a fully fit squad
Id argue that matchday squad of 20 is definitely top 6 material
I shouldn’t look on Twitter bunch of nutters a Burnley fan has just put that they have taken our best two players from last year, O’Hare would be near but Maatsen
Cov Twitter took this predictably well.Maatsen happy to be going to a bigger club
Maatsen Coventry comment will delight Burnley fans amid O'Hare transfer friction

He reminded me of Van Aanholt when we had him. tbf if he has a similar career to him, he'll have done alright.I honestly don't think Maatsen was very good and I'm not just saying that because he's made some comments to 'Lancashire Live' or whatever.
He has youth on his side though, so there's definitely room to progress a lot. For us though I didn't think he was anything special whatsoever.

To a degree! I was thinking though obvious promise, but... naive on occasion, clearly needed developing.Small and Dutch?
