This guy on the phone in is gold.

'I'm pleased with Coventry now. Scoring goals, that what they should have done before'

Can't fault that analysis.

Can't fault that analysis.

Fisher probably bribed the official. Nasty old sisu will do anything to avoid a goal bonus.

Easy lads ,sounded like a learning difficulties /handicapped chap TBH.

If you come to that conclusion based on someone sounding a bit thick on a phone-in we'd have to paint a lot more handicapped parking spots.

It looked like an OG to me, Cody got a poor touch but looked like the defender turned it in. Will have to see the replay.

Chief Commentator!
Robins post match interview:

Worst game in Robin's life
We couldn't pass
Take 3 points after that
Win breaths confidence
Tried to get on front foot
3 points was all it was about
Clean sheet and win is progress
Wasn't too complimentary of Cody but praised him for winning game
Fleck finds space for others
Jordan Clarke injury too early to say
Hopefully everyone got knocks (I like that attitude :D)
Fans come in numbers and made good noise
Going to enjoy this win then prepare for Tuesday
Training at the Ricoh on Monday

That was bloody awesome. In all the time I've been cycling home from work in the last 15 minutes listening to it on my phone, that is the first time we've EVER scored the winning goal!

Apologies to anybody who was in the vicinity of Warwick Street in Leamington and got a bit of a start-I couldn't help but do the full fist-pump/scream "Sky Blue Army!!!" :)

Notably, whilst saying he's frustrating, at no point did Robins mention fitness as a reason for why Cody hasn't been playing: it was very much that his all-round game isn't strong. Cody goes on to talk about how Robins has said he's going to help him improve aspects of his game-in reply to a question about whether it helps having a striker on the coaching staff at last. No mention of fitness there, either.

Can we now safely assume that Lynch's "source" is in fact Roy O'Donovan?

I was referring to the possibility ,from the sound of him that he may be mentally handicapped not Thick or pissed nor physically handicapped.Trapped with a lower mental age than his true age,it is just a supposition though, like yours that he's a bit thick .To suggest that Joe elliots still involved ,or beneficial to the clubs fortunes gives the impression he's living in another world beyond the norm ,not getting an F in comprehension.

"I'm glad for the team now, and I'm glad for Joe Elliott".

Sorry Wingy, that does still sound like half the callers still!

It was a pants game both sides seemed void of any quality but I think we shaded it. Thought Cody could have had a hattrick one was a sitter. But 3 points at last that is the most important thing right now.

Cody gets in goalscoring positions more than any other player we have, that can't be doubted. He also hits the woodwork more than any other City player I've known.

I have faith in the lad: start him every week and I'm certain he'll still bag us 20 goals this season.

Maybe Juke could run him close from his early days with us ,then Miffy,i'm sure there was one of his where it hit one post to the other then out.:)
