Out of Contract Championship Players (1 Viewer)

Walsh was my favourite player last year, and we have missed his ingenuity. But who goes, Hamer, Kelly or James? The answer would probably be Kelly which would seem unjust.

It’s a big chance to bridge the gap relatively cheaply, I think if we added two or three experienced quality players to our squad plus another striker we can become a decent top ten team and if we do that top six beckons
Sounds easy
Cut out the constant defensive mistakes of this season and we are comfortable mid table, learn to score at the same time for top six.

Sounds very easy ;)

Succession planning. Hamer will be sold at some point (my money is on January 2022) so would be handy to have his replacement already, and on a free transfer as well. Straight choice between Walsh and James, I’d be signing Walsh.

I thought one was on the table but he hadn’t signed.
Rumours down here that all contracts have been withdrawn while the new manager gets a look at everyone. My mates that are STHs there think they’re going to lose a few talented young players like Walsh.

When Norwich are promoted any of their released players would be worth a look at. Idah and Soto may well be looking for loan moves to Championship clubs too in the summer.
