What's happening is that City are doing it in the usual Coventry style. Different players and manager and we still can't break it. Go figure

This has got to be the final straw for Collins. As flawed as Wilson is, I can’t recall him making such basic, unforced errors.

Collins, dare I say it, had a 8/10 game until the mistake that lead to the goal. Unfortunately, GK is a ruthless position where a 90% bang on performance isn’t good enough.

In the summer, we’ve got to sign a GK that we would be happy to be number 1 with the assumption that Dovin may not come back the same player.

Luton’s sub GK today was Krul, that’s the standard you need at the top end of the Championship.
Top end of the Championship... Like Luton😆

You aren't wrong though I'd 100% put Wilson in, Collins has a huge target on his head from pretty much everyone and he looks the type of character that lets things get to him.

Wilson is no world beater but a lot of the reason we got Collins in was better distribution. We have Grimes now dropping right between the CBs just get Wilson to give it to him.

I do think people have let Binks off the hook a bit. The ball was going slow enough he could’ve cleared it.

That doesn’t change that Collins left the goal open and almost definitely impeded Kitching from dealing with a relatively routine clearance.
Think Binks like most of the team apart from the subs were absolutely shagged out physically and mentally after playing so long against 10 men. We were chasing relentlessly or so long. That was a tired attempt to clear by Binks.

The one thing I would say is that if we are going to lose or get knocked out of the playoffs on Saturday, I would rather it happens much earlier than the final minute.

That was excruciating yesterday at the death.

Much rather Boro beat us 2 or 3 nil, than have it be 0-0 and us seemingly
set for the playoffs and then they score a breakaway goal to win it, or for it to be that as the games pan out, we find that have to actually beat Middlesbrough and we are 1 nil up as the game peters out and again, in the last minute they equalise

Not sure my heart could take it.
If you've been a Sky Blues fan for more than five minutes, your heart will take it and you'll be back in August thinking this is our year.

Has this guy not noticed that Blackburn and Boro have lost 18 and 17 games respectively?

Millwall have lost 15 games too for good measure.

We’ve won more games than every team around us and for good measure, beaten them on the way. In fact, no team between 4th-12th has a better H2H against us.

The author of that tweet is a dingle.

If Collins was tired, would make his mistake acceptable?

I’m sure everyone would’ve been happy if he tapped it out for a corner…

Exactly. With a win there is only one team that could overtake us and that's Millwall. They would need to win by an almost impossible amount for that to happen considering they are at Burnley

Well even if we win only 1-0 they would have to win 6-0 to over take us. Even I would like to think that won’t happen

Keepers are going to make mistakes but Collins doesn’t learn from his, it’s his judgement, he was never going to get anywhere near that cross, Wilson doesn’t make those mistakes for the burnley and Luton goals, Wilson can't Be 100% prob why lampards frustrated , there’s no way he wants to keep picking Collins, maybe hasn’t got a choice ? heard Wilson’s got a knee injury, struggling to kick it ?

All rumours. The cov podcast said he has a hairline fracture. Can’t see that either. He is on the bench so as saddle confirmed he is 100% fit. He just isn’t playing

Yes but if they dont then a draw will be fine. Hence it isnt 'win is the only outcome'
I can understand your point but it's as simple as this:

Win and Millwall don't win by 6 more goals than us - playoffs
Draw and we are relying on other results
Lose and it's all over for this season

The big question is can we get the win. My heart says yes but my head isn't too sure after the last couple of games.

However, we are at home and we normally do a lot better at the CBS. Hopefully the atmosphere and the fact we are at home will carry us over the line. All we can hope for is the team we normally see at home turn up and not the team we normally see away
