Thinking it might be two since the performance director has put personality testing as a key part of the transfer policy. But yeah heard it from someone with links. Also heard about another player but haven’t heard anything about them before so not sure what to make of it,

It’s embarrassing

Palmer is just a wanker who just wants money and no effort or engagement

He did have his children as mascots so it was all about him. Then has a stroll in the park and walks off

Palmers wife was parked in Carpark A today. She appeared to be parked over a pedestrian walkway amongst the disabled spaces and was been asked to move by carpark staff. She was giving stacks of attitude whilst refusing to move the car to the guy who was just doing his job :-(

I loved him and love him even more for being totally useless today.
I don’t get the hate for clapping/ booing former players. Fans have done it forever. What I don’t get is people feeling such strong emotions about fellow fans doing something that has always happened!
Cheer up…it literally makes no difference to you!

1 million? Find it hard to believe but hopefully it's true

Everyone knows how I feel about him. Think he's a good player who got way too much shit. But he was in inconsistent and im glad that was the case today

Don't think he would fit lampards hard working midfield so it's worked out.

Always luxury player, reasonable to send him on when chasing a game but not worth a start.

I wonder if the “£5m deal” that Sky mentioned included the contract value. Ie. The wages over 3 years.

Tell me if I’m wrong (it happens) but didn’t he say he could get £25k per week and if he didn’t get that here he was downing tools? MR then said “laters then” and he went to Hull?

£25k per week, 156 weeks, about £3.8m, plus extras, plus £1m fee?

Plus sign on fee?

A talented footballer blessed with the aerobic capacity of Jordan Shipley if he had smoked 40 a day for 60 years.

When people complain about footballers who just “run around a lot”, they’re generally complaining about footballers who are far more effective in a game of competitive football than Kasey Palmer is.

Still only managed 60 minutes for the worst team we’ll see in a long time. He’ll enjoy League One, another big test for him.

Haha yeah it was really half arsed, which perfectly sums him up.

Where I was he got a bigger reception then when Mason Clark went off

Robins decision to favour him over O Hare last season looks more baffling every day

I don't think he favoured him over O'Hare.
O'Hare played 4 games in 14 days on his return and got dropped to the bench so I'd imagine that was to give him a rest.

Next time Palmer started was against Plymouth when O'Hare wasn't in the squad for whatever reason but he came straight back in.

Then Maidstone in the cup which I'd imagine everyone would agree with.

Then he picked Palmer over him a few times around mid March to the end of the season but O'Hare always came straight back in so I'd imagine it was manging his workload more than anything.

For example O'Hare never made the squad for Hull next game after the semi but he'd run 13K against United so I think it was more about looking after O'Hare who let's remember only came back from serious injury 3 or 4 months earlier.

Whether the man used to give O'Hare a break should have been Palmer is up for debate.

Who else could do it? Palmer was great Vs wolves iirc? Deserved his spot sometimes last season , he wasnt always anonymous

Formation change?
But my point is simply I don't think Robins favoured Palmer over O'Hare.
He just had to manage O'Hares workload.

And suggests that perhaps O'Hare's attitude in training wasn't quite on it.

Palmer has moaned about the training regime at hull. Too intense. I think it’s safe to say palmers attitude is never “on it”

O hare created the comeback at wolves. Palmer clearly would bust a gut on live TV

I wonder what the dynamic in that relationship is. 😁

Getting rid of him has allowed Torp to get more game time, and we are starting to see some good form from him. He put in some lovely passes, inc getting an assist for the equaliser. He looked a lot better than Palmer did yesterday.

Let's not mention the pen though 🤔
